The policeman who died is a hero, but that is widely acknowledged in this case....the woman who died apparently deserved her death....that was an act worthy of being shot. Sader obviously thinks so.

Most on the right condemned Floyd’s death and that of the taser shooter. A drug user who had threatened a pregnant woman with a knife vs a veteran who served her country on a dangerous tour of duty. But conservatives saw the principle involved with Floyd .....I have heard no voices questioning the security people in this instance.

10 A respect for the dignity of all people, not on a piece of paper, but in your life....with everybody you meet, especially those who make your life easier.
11 Gun ownership should be totally limited to sports equipment, no concealed weapons sold and certainly no automatic weapons.
12 All kids should grow up in families or extended families. No kid should be allowed to make a ‘sexual choice’ before they are at a responsible age.
13 Everybody should get taken care of when they are sick and have access to healthcare. That happens today and could be further improved if the legal excesses driving out of line US medical costs are curtailed.

There are many other principles but that’s a start. Trump has had a massively successful presidency in all the things that you can measure......jobs, wealth, border control, the ME, protecting military lives, the courts, vaccines....everything that’s concrete and actionable.
But he never won over half the country and in an election that was on a knife edge the Dems mail in voting tactics and the fact that half the country still believed the Russian lie, did him in. He lost the election many times.....in the press conferences on the virus and in the first debate where he was tone deaf for example.
And his failure to get re-elected underlines the old principle that once you are a leader, you have to be a leader of your whole constituency.
So we move on and the country will adjust, but it will remain the USA. The almost 50/50 vote shows despite the loud right and left wings.....the control rests in the middle.
