I laughed when I heard what he came up with in justifying his investigation and Papadopoulis - who interviewed him never asked him any difficult questions about for instance the Steele Dossier and the farcical and fraudulent FISA applications. He had a free time to repeat his stories and his new book coming out.
He still claims Russia has some hold on Trump and did not investigate Trump - but people around him. He went on about that one and one wonders of this was not a cover to try and prevent criminal prosecution of Comey and a launchpad for outrage in the media if Comey is arrested and charged for the criminal activities he was involved in before and after the election in 2016.
This guy should indeed be charged with treason - despite the limitations placed on such charges contained in the constitution. He was liaising with foreign countries to undermine the US election system and he did not investigate the Steele Dossier paid for by Clinton which was nothing more than Russian propaganda against Trump and for Hilary Clinton.
This is not going to work in a future court case and there are indeed reports about new documents coming out that would link and expose the fact that Clinton was the one that had the real support of the Russians in the election. That would put her in the same chair in a treason trial as Comey and a few others will be facing.
