Winners

China: Enhanced it's reputation as an economic trading partner

Russia: Sanctions lifted, oil sales booming.

Pakistan: Gained diplomatic standing by brokering the ceasefire.

Norway and Canada: Both are benefitting as customers seek alternative sources of energy.

Losers

Ukraine: Military and economic support has dried up but on the plus side, Ukraine has leveraged its drone technology with the Gulf states and built new economic ties.

The global economy: In tatters to the extent that a global recession is looming.

Israel: Infrastructure destroyed and loss of life. Achieved none of it's objectives. Irans proxies are all still active and there was no regime change in Iran.

Lebanon: Infrastructure destroyed and loss of life.

Gulf Arab states: Some infrastructure destroyed along with some loss of life. Reputational damage. Long term security threatened

Iran: Infrastructure destroyed, loss of life and military greatly reduced . . . but at least offset to some extent by proving their geopolitical influence over the Straits of Hormuz which they may well monetize going forward so they can rebuild.

USA: Spent upwards of $50billion dollars in achieving no clear objectives while alienating traditional western allies.

Global international order: No longer in existence.

"Global international order: No longer in existence."

That's a win...the "order" was an illusion.

Actually Iran is totally exposed as a rogue state. The US relationship with Arab States has been strengthened. Iran will take 10 years just to rebuild to where they are today….they will not get a nuke.

The perfidy of NATO has been exposed, which will save US tax payers $100 billion a year….and cost Europe $50 billion (they never spend what they should) Just another step in Europe’s fade.

Meanwhile the US is gaining valuable exposure to drone technology with emerging counter measures like the bullfrog racing to production. The relationship with Ukraine has been strengthened by their willingness to help in contrast to Europe.

And in the end the Iran will have to sign all these terms they claim they will never sign.

I'm not talking about a paranoid, secretive "world order" conspiracy here, I'm talking about basic international law and respect for sovereign boundaries.

Yes, me too....that was an illusion... it's BS ...only certain countries complied and everyone ignored the fact that certain rogue countries didn't... until Trump called them out...try to keep up.
