Remember, peeps, all this comes from liberals' own analytical framework. Nothing alien to liberal way of thinking.
So far, the Iranian Muslim nutjobs as they are commonly described by liberals, have taken rational decisions. Remember, peeps, by liberal standards, one key rational action is to look for rational partners. For years, the Iranians have been provided rational reactions to liberal actions, whether proportionate retaliation, invoking right to self-defence, targeting of US bases (and then of US territory) etc
Liberals on the other hand have slipped on the irrational side of things. Big time.
Of course, irrationality is such a big thing that covering it properly may require an exhaustive approach, not done here as it is for laughter and the fun of it.
One irrational step was to describe iranian attacks on US military bases as direct attacks on the countries hosting the military bases, which is very bad considering the host country is being charged for US protection. An attack on the body guard is not supposed to be perceived as a direct attack on the body guard boss, this defeats the purpose of hiring a body guard.
The energy infrastructures nasty mess is the blatant example of irrationality though. The war was started on irrational basis, no doubt about that but this takes the cake. It is incredible.
So basically, in his effort to trigger a civil war in Iran, Trump depicted oil and gas as national wealth to the Iranian People. Trump declared he was attacking Iran to liberate the Iranian People (in action, to liberalise the Iranian people, to force them to adopt certain liberal tenets)
When the US reached a dead end, Trump threatened Iran with blowing up major Iranian oil infrastructures. So basically, to destroy the very national wealth of the Iranian People Trump came to liberate.
As if it was not enough, contrary to Iraq, the US have made no mystery they want to seize control over Iranian natural resources. Remember, peeps, when Iraq was being defeating, Iraqis started to blow up their own oil infrastructures so the US did not get them. Dirty plans like explosive depth charges in oil fields that would ruin them permanent surfaced, In those days, Georges Bush the son did what was required: he begged the Iraqis to stop.
Here, Trump himself offered the option. Which is crazy.
The Iranian answer was rational again: they would retaliate by hitting US oil interests in the area.
Liberal Israel, either by opportunity or by concerted action with the US, hit an iranian gas plant. And Iran aptly retaliated by hitting a Qatar based US related gas company.
It is a mess on so many levels. Qatar was hit by liberal Israel a few months ago and as before, the US tried to avoid mentioning Iran hit a US gas interest and framed it as Iran hitting a Qatari gas interest. Which is very bad, as the US sort of okayed the liberal Israeli strike on Qatar.
Trump told that he did not know about liberal Israel strike before it happened. There is no good outcome in this, if Trump is correct, he has no control over the situation, liberal Israel can take decisions that harm US interests in the area, if Trump is incorrect, he okayed a strike that would harm the US interests in the area. Of course, dismissing here the effects on the rest of world that is observing.
There is so much in this, it would take long to cover it all.
Another development rationale is that US military is deployed in the area to protect US interests, locals are charged for it. Yet as Trump has pictured the attacks not on an attack on US interests, but as an attack on the host country in order to avoid facing the fact that the US do not fulfil the purpose they are supposed to have, now host countries have threatened to step in, another irrational answer as they are charged for US protection. They are going to protect US interests in the area, which disqualifies them as rational agents.
It is a mess. An irrational mess. The damage is done. It will have deep consequences.
