Since he purchased Twitter, he seems to have a different attitude.
This is him today with the Saudis watching the world cup final.

The bad guys have always been the Arabs and Russia, what was once up is now down.

SB

Is it wrong for Musk to go and watch the Soccer World Cup and what has that to do with anything?  Incidentally the WC is played in Qatar and not Saudi Arabia.   The relationship between the Saudi's and Qatar - accused to be pro-Iranian by the Saudi's - causing closure of the Saudi-Qatar border - would be flooded by Saudi Princes  going to watch the WC in Qatar?

So the problem is that Musk has released data showing that Twitter was instructed by the FBI, the CIA, the DNC and Democratic Party politicians  to subvert freedom of speech in the USA.  The guilty had weekly meetings with Twitter to ensure that any news that could be negative for the DP is oppressed and a typical example was their claim that the Hunter Biden Laptop was Russian Disinformation which proved to be a lie subsequently.  Musk has now released information on Twitter confirming what was going on - how does that affect him having change his attitude to Russia?

Is the above now representing a change in attitude you refer to?

I always assumed Musk was a centrist, not really aligned with any politics - left or right.
Just someone focussed on business, who worked non-stop.

Only recently has the MAGA base started to love him. Although the Democrats are statistically on average richer than the Republicans, so it is they that have been his customers. Eco-friendly cars that are expensive and unique - not gas-guzzling environmental disasters so loved by the consumers.

Perhaps he now supports Republicans because they don't tax rich people. Democrats or at least some of them want to tax the rich a similar % to everyone else.

(And no DumbMike, this is not a thread about Biden to copy/paste your regurgitation).

You assumed nothing of any reality ever.    Let me explain something to you.   First of all Twitter made a $1,5 contribution to the leftist Democratic Party in the 2020 election.   The most likely reason was at the time that the Democrats assured their donors that their tax increase proposals would not happen and that it was purely election propaganda.   In the meantime since 2020 the Democrats moved from leftist to ultra-leftist and the constant oppression of news in the internet platforms became endemic.   Zuckerman months ago said that he was instructed by the FBI to ban information detrimental to the Democratic Party on Facebook.

What you assume is total BS as per normal.   You assume that because Musk published information on Twitter about how Russian Disinformation was used by the FBI to stop critical info reaching the public is now a change in attitude to Russia.    Another conspiracy theory with zero substance at all.

Fact is the allegation of political collusion between the media and internet platforms in the USA was evident for at least five years - but was exposed by whistleblowers and banned from publication by the media owners for years.    The exposure by Zuckerman and later on Musk was not published by the mainstream media in the USA - so you knew nothing about what was going on.   Musk was not prepared to continue in California and moved his operations to Texas where logical and not multi-socialist extreme policies caused the flight from that State.   He was not the only industrialist who left California because of Democrat ultra-leftist policies in that State - policies that the Biden Administration want enforced in all US states.   In the years since Biden took over - the net taxes paid by the ultra-rich decreased and that is a fact as well.

The real reason why Musk realized that what was happening was UNCO NSTITUTIONAL - with criminality involved as well and decided to stop Twitter being used as a one-sided propaganda outlet.    But that has nothing to do with your "change of  attitude " BS".

My god, VisKop! Musk has done zero to advance any right wing causes. All he has done is expose collusion between the FBI and Twitter…of which it is now clear, things were even worse than we thought. People telling political jokes or sharing memes were having their accounts suspended and banned. You’re obviously too much of a moron to notice the stark similarities between the FBI and secret police types of the past. All Musk has done is to expose this and is attempting to restore freedom of speech. But okay, let’s give you the benefit of the doubt. Give me three instances where Musk has put any weight behind a right-wing cause. And if you can’t do that, perhaps it’s time to look into the mirror and admit that you’re part of the problem. You’re lucky these conversations happen in text. Face to face, i’d make you cry.

No-one commenting on the other person in the prince's box . . . or is it just expected that Bozo's son-in-law would be mixing with the Saudis?

Elon Musk is a bit like me in that he has both left and right wing te ndencies.

He dislikes the whole woke culture which makes him a right winger but he believes in a universal basic income which makes him left wing.

Same as me. I'm fiercely right wing when it comes to equal opportunities as opposed to equal outcomes but when it comes to the broad economic and social issues I'm a complete commie.

That doesn't make me a moderate. The one doesn't cancel out the other. I don't have moderate views when it comes to issues like multigenderism and "pronouns" and all that other bullshit, nor do I have moderate views on poverty, corruption and the enormous gap between the very poor and very wealthy.

Is that a physical threat ButtPlug? Cant, you debate without resorting to this?
What I notice about you is whenever there is a recent religious thread, you get all riled up and carry it across to other threads.

At least Beeno admits he is religious. You, on the other hand, pretend to be not religious - but instead you are impartial calling out both sides. Then you jump in when there is criticism of religion.  This is because like most, you have an increasing feeling deep down that you dont believe it either.
You have no qualms about Beeno calling everyone who is not religious - or at least his religion- paedophiles, perverts etc. You are a closet religious person. Today is no longer cool to be religious, at least amongst middle age and younger - so you just lie.

The reality is the increasing majority of younger people share my view on religion. It is after all freedom of speech. It is a belief not a fact, and everyone is entitled to express their beliefs - even if it offends other people, Muslims don't respect Christian beliefs. Christians don't respect Muslim beliefs. Atheists don't respect either. Are you seeing a pattern?  It is hard to respect something you dont believe in or think is a lie. Extreme Muslims want to get violent when people dont agree with their take on religion, just like you.

Rooinek iss in a way correct about his assessment of Musk,   I cana dd that he does not want to be caught in criminality that was reigning at Twitter in the past.   I think that Musk is in the same way as Rupert is in SA.   He does not like corruption in Government and what he found at Twitter was total corruption and efforts to hide Government corruption by the media and the internet platform.

What is happening in Twitter was first exposed by Zuckerman and he made a public statement about how the system operated.    As expected it was never mentioned in the main stream media.   They are going to have great difficulty in future in explaining their conduct of the past under oath in the House.

I think Musk wants no part in being caught in corruption and that is why he changed his attitude.

As to the above response of SB - when he makes a total balls up he runs to religion as a diversion.    Idiocy supreme

Something like 1 hour left in the poll in which Musk has asked Twitter users if he should step down. 58% are saying he should step down, and 42% are saying no.

It looks like Trump will declare himself the winner, with a range of voting fraud allegations.

SB

Even if he steps down he would still be the majority shareholder and decide on a successor that will do his bidding.    He will step down because he does not want to be the target of Democratic Party terrorism and murder of him and his family.

However, the FBI will try to kill him if he stays on and keep on exposing their criminal activities. Must say he endangered his own and the life of his family already.

You talk about yourself as if you are the spokesman for conservatism, DumbMike. You are part of the Qanon branch, that makes no sense- basically not proper conservatives.

Running from religion to Qanon to get out of his BS this time around.   You are still an idiot - but your idiocy increases with every posting you make.    I do not know what Qanoon is - but you are apparently scared into believing  the BS spread by the media about some mysterious little organization with no real political impact at all.   All I know is that the 5 members making up the leadership of Qanon has no ties with the Republican Party at all - while the Democratic Party has BLM and Antifa as terrorist subsidiaries which they fund and in 2020 used to riot and destroy cities all over the USA.

Ou Maaik is far gone. Irrevocably. There's no point engaging with him, it just encourages him to churn out more of the same monotonous drivel . . . and ou Maaik usually provides 2 or 3 copies of each tome.

Can you believe the moron was having a pop at Moffie on another thread for a repeated post?

I mean, really. There's irony, there's heavy irony and then there's this.

Me “ You’re lucky these conversations happen in text. Face to face, i’d make you cry.” …then VisKop responds with… “Is that a physical threat ButtPlug? Cant, you debate without resorting to this?” Ruckers perpetual dummy perpetually living up to his name. Read this very slowly, VisKop… I’m saying that with text you can take your time to respond while getting google to help you out and save some face after you make your regularly ridiculous statements. Whereas, in a face to face conversation i would break your already broken brain even more…and you would cry. I just pointed out to you that Musk was exposing a more modern version the Secret Police and that they were engaging it what appears to be unconstitutional actions against civilians. This should interest you since you warn against totalitarianism endlessly in your ramblings. As recently as yesterday, if i’m not mistaken. And your response…”beep beep religion…meep meep…christians” PS You never listed an instance of Musk putting his weight behind a right-wing cause. Why am i ALWAYS, literally ALWAYS, willing to directly defend what i’ve said, but you hardly ever appear able to. The simple answer is that it’s both difficult and pointless to defend a steaming pile of dog shyte haha. The solution is so simple. Break the cycle by ceasing to spray crap out of every orifice and then you won’t be left with the difficult choice of either embarrassing yourself or defending the indefensible.

Musk’s biggest problem is the massive drop in Tesla stock. I exited March 9th when it was $286, missing the peak at $363, but it’s now $150. There are plenty of unhappy people who bought at around $300. And more refined electric offerings are appearing every day.

Twitter could also be a tough act to make successful.

Musk has successfully  walked on the edge for a long time, including with regulators, so it’s hard to bet against him….but he has some serious issues to resolve.
