I saw that scientists has developed a new virus from the Omricon variant that is 90% sure to kill everyuone who gets infected. If that is indeed true one wonders why lunacy has taken over scientific research in the USA.
I am sure that if it is true the scientists invovled should be charged with a string of charges that will lead to the death penalty for every one of them. After all - those people whom the gods wish to destroy they drive mad and what is the case here it is indeed madness.

Yes we have become so tired of the anti-vaxxers. Anyone vaccinated is safe, but the others are toast. I actually made a donation this to fund.
All these labs should be mandated to only operate in Washington D.C.
That way if the virus accidently escapes the lab the folks responsible for the funding of these Labs will be the first to experience this new virus and experience at first hand the sheer folly that they are toying with.

Researchers at Boston University say they have developed a new COVID strain that has an 80% kill rate following a series of similar experiments first thought to have started the global pandemic that began in China.
The variant, a combination of omicron and the original virus in Wuhan, killed 80% of the mice infected with it, the university said. When mice were only exposed to omicron, they experienced mild symptoms.
The research was conducted by a team of scientists from Florida and Boston at the school's National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories.

They extracted the spike protein from omicron and attached it with the strain first detected at the onset of the pandemic that began in Wuhan, China. They then documented how the mice reacted to the hybrid strain.
"In…mice, while Omicron causes mild, non-fatal infection, the Omicron S-carrying virus inflicts severe disease with a mortality rate of 80 percent," they wrote in a research paper.
The new strain has five times more infectious virus particles than the omicron variant, researchers said.
In a statement, the university stressed that the replicated strain was less dangerous than the original strain.

We apparently haven’t learned that safety protocols aren’t fool proof. I’d say after many believe Covid escaped the Wuhan lab, seeing this valueless ‘science’ being conducted is infuriating.

Actually I fully expected this to be complete BS but these scientists were altering the virus….exactly in what ways remains unclear. My own feeling is if these infectious viruses need to be altered for legitimate study purposes (and it’s unclear whether this particular effort adds any real value) it should be done in a very limited number of super safe laboratories world wide.
If we don’t take extreme care the risk is releasing something far more lethal than Covid,
