that the war between Russia and Ukraine is not a Russian people war, there is enough evidence to suggest that Russian folks have no appetite for it, it's also increasingly evident that it is solely a Putin war. There is going to be a price to be paid in the endgame and that price is going to be Putin's head, it won't happen overnight but it will happen.

Hope so, although if opinion polls are accurate, Russia has something like 70%of the population support the war.
While I don 't doubt their is significant support for the war among the Russian population, you have to be mindful of polls in Russia, as the polls are conducted by organisations controlled by the Russian government.
In addition you can't be certain how many Russian's who are polled are simply saying what they think the pollsters want them to say out of fear of saying anything that might get them in to trouble.
Sounds very much like American opinion polls. Not reliable at all. Yje polsters pick people that would give them a predetermined answer. So who can believe the polsters.
The fact is that the Russian people will not let down the Russans living in Ukraine in danger of being attacked and also see how they are being oppressed like being fined when they speak Russian in public and Russian being banned as a school subject, as well as Russian speaking members of the Ukraine Parliament being arrested.
