I have always maintained that the real threat to Democracy comes from the Democratic Party.    The key elements the Democrats uses for absolute control are -

*   the media controlled by the Ultra-Rich - who simultaneously controls the Party itself;

*   state capture of the Justice Department and FBI through infiltration that started under Obama - but was less dominant under Trump - but still persisted under Trump and under Biden total control by the Party are extensively used to protect the Democrats and un deterrmine and attack opponents  of the Party, while attacking Police 

*    instead of having laws past by Congress they rule the country through presidential mandates and regulations compiled and implemented by bureaucrats;   

*    undermining of the basic principles of free speech;

*    organizing and funding of riots by Party subsidiaries like happened in 2020 when their subsidiaries murdered 46 people, seriously injured over 1 200 police officer and causing looting and arson of buildings  resulting in billions of damage;

*    the Russian Hoax strategy - based entirely concocted by themselves  used to undeermine the Trump presidency;

*   the handling of the Covid pandemic and  health issues handing ultimate power on the issues to the unelected WHO;

*    introduction of Stalinist systems  in schools as to brainwashing of children in schools to hate their parents and rely totally on state control;

*    efforts to undermine voting based on registering of the election processes like registering and voting without proper identification - through unacceptable measures  aimed at undermining of the US Constitution; and     

*    the open Border Policy that aimed at undermining culture and history of the USA.  

I can give dozens io examples of   all of the above that undermine the US Cobns titution.   e alleged

Legacy media doesn't matter as much as it used to and it's influence is only going to continue decreasing.

The most popular political commentators on platforms like Youtube are either centrists or right-leaning. And it's pretty easy to understand why. The lefties want to chop off kids' dicks while the reasonable majority see the evils in that and stand against it. There are way too many leftist ideas that reasonable people simply can't get behind...so they're(leftists) starting the fight at a deficit. And then they attempt some crazy underhanded moves to try and get ahead...like when they changed the filter on Joe Rogan's video to make him look sick when in fact he beat Covid in 2 days with the treatment he got. It made them appear both desperate and untrustworthy. That's just one example of which there are plenty.

What's been helping the left is that big tech has been censoring speech from the right. But Elon has helped to stop that too. 

Basically, anti-us money has been blackmailing big-tech...and if you're a place like China with a billion potential users of a platform, you will certainly have a say in what is and isnt allowed on that platform. Which is exactly what they have been doing and exactly why big-tech have been bending the knee. Profits are what matters most to shareholders.

Hopefully, when the Reds take control, they'll finally force social media platforms to choose between being publishers or not being publishers. They'll certainly have to choose not to be publishers because the other option is suicide. 

It's like Elon says. Just because I own the town square, doesn't mean that I'm responsible for what everybody says while standing on it. 

There are already laws that describe crimes and limit free speech. There is no need for big tech to make up their own rules. And if they wanna make their own rules then they had better decide whether or not they are publishers.
