On Thursday, Rogan seemed to agree.

“I am not a doctor. I am a f***ing moron. I am a cage-fighting commentator,” he said on his podcast. “I am not a respected source of information, even for me.”

At least Rogan is man enough to admit he was wrong, and is looking past his own interests to the greater good of society. 

He has also made a good point that if you are seeking advice, trust the experts, not the layman.
For example if your car is broken take it to a mechanic, not a knitting class.

Joe Rogan?   Never heard of him before and cannot remember  anybody quoting him on site before.    Have CNN on DSTV - but has stopped looking at that program .- since I had not heard any truth from them for 5 years - constant lies and distortions is all they specialize in - but then they influence brainwashed idiots so I assume you watch them constantly,    

I watched them occasionally even in the last five years to see  what they report [but ever since the weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq bug LIE I gave up on them - gather more than a million people died as a result of the BS of Bush and his partners in crime  the vast majority of the  Democrat Senators,

Can you remember another liar - Mueller? He was caught out in the House for BSting  about the start of the Russian Hoax  - but that  was not his first exercise in the BIG LIE.    He - a darling of the Democrats was the main addressee of the Senate who lied totally about the weapons of mass destruction and convinced the Senate to approve the attack on Iraq//

So you can have CNN and put them on site - but thinking people would never trust them to say one true thing ever,        .

It's a one size fits parachute for Rogan. He always uses it when he takes heat for something he said that blows back on him.

Mind you the moment I got to know that Rogan is a comedian  it became clear that he is not to be taken seriously when it comes to issues,   He must have played the fool with CNN  many times and therefore CNN  is trying to discredit him,   Pity that comedians are under attack in the USA now.   

Incidentally what's happened to poor old Redneck and his adversary DA, who I always thought put the former in his place...DA  amused me when he owned poor old predictable Rooi.

Then there was that Clean Cut fellow that was really not very clean cut...the "chess champion" that Denny always had an axe to grind with...I guess they just got tired of  petty Forum quabbles.

Rogan is smart guy and a great interviewer. 

From physicists to fighters and politicians, he has them all on his show.

He's got massive clout because while having his own opinions, he always gives people a fair shake and all the room they want/need to state their case. And that's the foundation of liberalism proper. Which is why so many neo-libs dislike him...that mirror ain't showing them what they wanna see.

For example, he had Tulsi and Bernie Sanders on his show but said that between Biden and Trump, he'd vote for Trump. I think people appreciate that honesty.

Anyway, do check out Lex Fridman, I have a feeling you'll appreciate what he has to offer.

It seems Joe Rogan now has Covid. He is treating himself with the far-right cocktail mix :

1. Ivermectin - with original horse manure taste
2. HCQ - An old favourite
3. A-side order of Zinc (Well stirred)
4. Some new stuff that has been added

I actually thought Rogan seemed sensible, but he is looking more like a religious fruit cake. 

I took Ivermectin,  Vit C, Vit D and Zinc pills...would have taken the HCQ too if I could get some...it helps the body absorb the zinc better, which, togeter with the vitamins, boosts the immune system. I was hardly sick and completely recovered in short time...only lasting symtom was the reduced sence of taste...it quickly got better from almost having no taste at all.

There are doctors in South Africa who get very good results using that same coctail...and they know a lot more about medicine than you do.

There are religious doctors who think they know more than experts are biased by ideology. 
Knowing more than me about virology is irrelevant if they are not qualified to clean Fauci's shoes.

I (and the rest of the sane world) follow the guidance of medical experts, who complete trials that produce data of statistical significance. 

The far-rights trials would never pass proper standards that are considered scientific. 

You don't know if someone is going to die from Covid, until it is too late. So just because some people survived, it does not mean the cocktail worked. 

If your doctor was following scientific testing he would be using a blind test and give 50% of the people he treated a placebo, with the other 50% the cocktail.
After treating about 10,000 people, he/she would start to produce data of statistical significance. 

It is more likely your doctor is treating 100% of people with the cocktail, so how would he know that it works?

My doctor is woke like you...gave me 2 courses of antibiotics to use at once...I didn't need it, so kept it for "later"...got the other stuff from other doctors...we got the results we were hoping for, so I won't change my mind soon...any personal xp you care to share?
