He used to be a friend of mine, became a jock and successful...re-united with him some years back, we socialised with him and Kim (his girlfriend then and now his wife) and we drifted apart...I am NOT a racing man at all...but I took 2 flutters on the July betted on Kevin's rides...2 fillies...Ipitombi and Dancers Daughter who both won the July.
Kevin was one of best jockeys in SA ever...better than all the rest...even Michael Roberts, Charley Barends and David Payne.
