Landmines in Ukraine

The fighting is continuing in winter - unlike last year. In hindsight, not fighting last winter was a major blunder by Ukraine, as it has given Russia ample time to plant the mines - and perhaps record a safe way to navigate through themselves safely when attacking

I don't understand how Russia is attacking if there are landmines between each side. Unless there are certain places with no mines, and the Russians have a digital map. Or perhaps they remove mines from an area before attacking down that line

It might just be better to let Russia attack to identify the mine-free areas, and then counterattack on the same line.
Watch their initial attack lines with satellites or something akin.

On a separate note, i t appears that the frozen Russian Assets around the world are going to be given to Ukraine

Been some reports that the Russian troops have been complaining that the records of where the mines have been laid is either incorrect or not being provided to the attacking troops in some sectors, considering the number  of videos of ruskie tanks hitting mines there are on the internet these reports could be correct.

As to the Ukrainians attacking last winter, you can't expect front line troops to always be attacking every day unless they have a high rotation of soldiers at the front, every army has to take a break and rebuild.
