Liberalism is less than 250 years old. When you look at history, 250 years is a blip and people used to maintain their family history through verbal means longer than that. You know, the family unit, this thing liberals keep bragging about.
It is very funny. Putting things back into context. When liberalism emerged, Europeans had made contact with various populations they superficially observed. They noticed that some populations had no taxation conception. They did not know taxes. And one core reason was they had no State. They were stateless societies. And liberals especially started to consider that those stateless societies were inferior to societies with a state. Stateless societies were the home of the savages while societies with a state were the home of civilised people.
So they came to consider that taxes, the main function of a State, was the hallmark of civilisation. Civilised people had taxes. Savages did not. It make it even funnier when you consider that the US fought a war to be able to tax themselves, they went to war not to abridge taxation but to take control over taxation. And even more, the US founders came to sell taxation as an essential freedom/liberty.

It shows even if unneeded that liberals can not teach their own history. They have so destroyed family that the memory of taxes as an essential freedom did not make it through family history. 250 years is nothing. How many generations...
Liberals are very funny people now when one factors in that liberal societies claimed that stateless societies were sort of a human mistake and had to be eradicated. Right now, the number of stateless societies has plummeted close to zero. And they had no taxation and no state.Now the world only has societies with a state and societies with a failed state.
