Lesotho and the tariffs debacle

Liberals are all about submission. The tariff debacle is another vivid example. As by their usual, liberals assert an obviously incorrect statement and expect people to comply with it. This is how they know people submit.

Lesotho tops the list of the most unfair, naasty to the US nation. The question is to know how Lesotho deserved the spot. DJT told it outright, nobody knows about Lesotho. Which is an invitation in those days of easy to collect data to learn more about Lesotho by yourself. Fifteen minutes later, it appears that Lesotho is a smallish economy, around two billions dollars, that has a trade surplus with the US by 250 millions dollars. Lesotho sells to the US while buying very little. Which gives outright the key to how the so called tarriffs are computed; it is mere normalization of the trade deficit. From this, one question arises: the causes Lesotho buys so little from the US. The Trump administration says this is because of tariffs Lesotho places on US goods. Another obvious reason is that Lesotho is too poor to buy from the US, they sell very little to the US and they buy even less. Fifteen minutes analysis, anyone can do it. So the US tell it outright, it has nothing to do with tariffs, it is a bogus story. People are going to submit, they are going to tell that it is about tariffs.

At the end of the day, Trump declared mission accomplished: all counries in the world are likcing the ass of WeThePeople, all the countries have submitted.

Liberalism is all about submission.

The batshit thing about the tariff on Lesotho is they primarily sell textiles to the US, the textile export industry in Lesotho was partially set up and funded by the US as part of its foreign aid plan to lift people in the country out of poverty and to increase US soft power in the region. The Lesotho's are getting tariffed for doing something Uncle Sam wanted them to do.

Go to the country and see just who has raised their living standards from the aid and assistance received from other countries.

Not the common folks but the elite political few.

Regarding life in Canada with a PM such as the one who just resigned due to corruption has been a bother but fortunately we have some great leaders in the Conservative ranks who will repeal most if not all the damage inflicted on our economy after the upcoming election.

Thank goodness we have a heated driveway and garages to house our cars so sorry to burst your bubble, we live in a stable community with lakes and everything we need at our doorstep.

Crime free and where all inhabitants can live comfortable free to rise to whatever they wish to achieve in life for them and/or their families.

Both my wife and I had businesses in RSA that provided both us and our extended family with a very lucrative income to live the life we wanted, plus allow us to have overseas options for the future we planned.

We wanted a future for our children free of the violence that we all knew was just a matter of years away and a future free of political interference and discrimination.

Just wanted to add this for your information: My family background in Southern Africa go back to the early settlers in the Cape and if you have the opportunity you can verify that by simply looking up the first person to be granted land rights in the Cape was a relative of mine.

We briefly visited RSA on one or two trips to other destinations and know we made the correct move for our family and wish all you folks still resident in RSA the best of health and peace for the future.

By the way I do not have a single racial bias in my body. I was against the SA Government when they banned "Basil D" in playing for England in that cancelled cricket tour of RSA plus we have over the years in RSA supported our domestic help in financing their children's education in non racial schools.

In closing I was against Apartheid when in RSA (then) and disapprove of the ANC's transformation in both the work place and sport being forced on all.

Not only do I follow the RSA teams but I have been and always will be a RSA cricket and Rugby supporter.

Most people, are at least to some degree, are racist in some way. It is often hard to be objective when measuring one's own bias, at least in a way that is impartial.
