In 2016 the Democrats led by Obama and Clinton started a conspiracy theory about collussion between Trump and Putn to steal the election in 2016. The system worked as follows - a news story was devised and the CIA and FBI would issue "reports" that was spread in the media.
The result was the appointment of Mueller as special council by a bloke by the name of Clinesmith at the time an Assistant Attorney General in the Justice Department. The investigation lasted for 13 mont hs ad t he media and site members were celebrarting that the "Walls are cosing n on Trump" before the Mueller Investigation report was released, When the report came out the dream of he Democrats to get rid of Trump evaporised and Mueller in a face-saving effort referred to 2 things that really was BS, The first thing was that somebody from Rusia paid $41 000 for an advertisement on an internet platform supporting Trump as Pesident - a minimal amount bearing in mind that at least $800 billion is spent on such advertsement during USA elections. The other BS was a remark on :"exconeration" of a person from any crime he may have committed. There is no such legal provision in the US legal system - the only method applicable is that a Pesident can pardon a person after found guilty in a court of law - that brings into mind a new angle developed by Biden in pardoning people for crimes they may have committed between 1 D ecember 2014 and 1 December 2024 in a desperate effort to prevent them from being investigated - which in fact will end up in the Supreme Court because it lacks an effort to undermine judicial proceedings will not be accepted by the Supreme Court anyway.
However, the matter was also investigated by the Inspector General of Justice and he found that Clinesmith made a false declaration as to an effort to spy on the Trump 2016 election campaign by making a false statement in the documentation supported a court order to authorize spying on Carter Page. Clinesmith was charged with a crime which normally pescribed a ten year sentence and was given instead a year sentence comprising of community work by Clinesmith. .
The AG at the time appointed Durham as Special Council and he found that the main culprit was storiess concocted by the Clinton campaign and carried forward by te FBI, He filed 4 charges against individuals all linked to FBI misconduct and when all evidence was led and it was clear the FBI had a major hand in the Russian Hoax he dropped the charges against them becaue the really guilty Party was the Clinton election campaign and the FBI.
In a secret document now declassified it emerged that the CIA found no collusion evidence that there was any collusion between Trum and Putin. The document was dated to be released to the media on 8 December 2016. The reaction was the calling by Obama of his Securty Advisory Committee on 8 December 2016 to deal with the issue and at that meeting it was decided to implement a system to undermine the Presidency of Trump and lay the foundation for an attempt to get rid of Trump as President, Despite the eventual collapse of the Russian Collusion story it was used in the 2020 election campaign by Biden and on this site was repeated regularly to date - eg a claim that in the case of the Ukraine War Trump is in the pocket of Putin. Fact is that there were ZERO evidence supporting the claim and the story about collussion was always repeated by the media and on this site.
In September 2023 the DNC led a meeting where a strategy was devised to prevent Trump's cadacy in the 2024 eelction as RP candidate, It entailed the laying of fake criminal charges against Trump - in the end the startegy failed and Trump won the 2024 election and for the first time since 1984 the Republican Party candidate got more votes than the Democrats did. During the whole of 2024 there were media allegations that Trump will be jailed and that was applauded by site members, The charges were fake and legally impossible to be successful - but the site members applauded it.
Since most of the above a basically based on lie-spreading by the media Trump stated claing damages from media outlets, Since the whole scenario was absed on lies and distortions Trump started laying libel claims against media otlets fro libel. The first two - NBC and ABC - was sued for $10 billion each. Partial settlement with those two outlets were part of single stories concocted by NBC and ABC for specific allegaions and settled at $16 million and covering of all Trumps legal costs each. The main allegations about the Russian Hoax were not dealt with yet in the settlements and is likely to be much higher - probably in the $100 million range. There is similar claims laid against CNN as well - also $10 billion dollars - but no settlement has been reached with them yet. Now the issue gets even more strident - a claim of $15 billion was laid by Trump against the New York Times about lies spread by them.
Trump decided to use the income for a purpose set by Ronald Reagan in respect of the Reagan Memorial Library in Los Angeles and all income from he Libel Claims would be used to built the Trump Memorial Library in Florida, In the meantime the leftist media is getting more and more scared and is now themselves firing people that went overboard on claims against Trump. The Washington Post under new ownership (Bezos) has fired most of their liberal and leftist commentators and did not endorse Harris in the 2024 election.
So what will be the result of ten years of lies and distortion by the media and applauded by site members? The most expensive and luxurous Memorial Library ever built by anybody in the USA.
