That poor nutter sharkbokie doesn't even know there is anything like a globalist populist/nationalist clash hahahahahahaha what a dope!!!

French centrist Mr Macron this week positioned himself as the main rival to Europe’s Brussels-sceptic, hard-right parties, in a response to criticism from Italy and Hungary’s populist leaders.

But Laurent Wauquiez has branded Mr Macron’s vision a “hoax” and warned Angela Merkel, who once advocated an open border policy, has now changed her position.

Mr Wauquiez, the head of France’s right-wing Les Républicains opposition party, told Europe 1 radio: “It’s possible for one to be both pro-Europe and in favour of tighter border controls.”

He said Mr Macron is “describing a Europe in which you have on the one hand nasty nationalists who want closed borders; and on the other nice progressives – including himself – who want open borders”.

Mr Wauquiez said: “Mr Macron’s vision is a hoax. I think that today, the vast majority of Europeans are asking for a Europe that protects. And I think that Emmanuel Macron finds himself isolated on the European stage. Because he is one of the few leaders who does not understand the demand for more protection of the peoples of Europe

“Even Angela Merkel has changed her position,” he said, referring to the German Chancellor’s new stricter asylum policy.”

When asked what he thought of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s tough position on key European issues, namely illegal immigration, Mr Wauquiez said: “We must move beyond the current situation in which we seek to label such and such person a bogeyman.”

Mr Orban and Italy’s far-right Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini on Tuesday lashed out at Mr Macron, and said they would join forces before the European Parliament elections in May 2019 to oppose what they described as a pro-migration group of countries led by the French president.

Mr Macron was quick to respond to the criticism, establishing himself on Wednesday as the main opponent to Europe’s far-right, immigration-hostile parties.

He said: “It is clear that today a strong opposition is building up between nationalists and progressives and I will yield nothing to nationalists and to those who advocate hate speech.

“So if they want to see me as their main opponent, they are right to do so.”

World will CARRY ON’ EU could ‘UNRAVEL’ admits French minister

FRENCH Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian on Sunday said that the European Union could fall apart if nationalist, far-right leaders expand their power in the European Parliament at elections next May.

All sane Europeans who don't want to be overrun by invading hordes.
