Former Vice President Mike Pence is making his presence felt in Georgia, on the eve of the state’s primary, on behalf of Gov Brian Kemp. Mr Kemp is likely to prevail on Tuesday against a Trump-backed primary challenger.

The move is a sign that Mr Pence is getting bolder with his public break from Donald Trump and his efforts to make a name for himself in the party. Now, in an interview with The New York Times, Mr Pence is refusing to rule out a primary bid against his old boss.

Pence will be a better POTUS than the boorish obese pig.

Pence has no chance of getting elected - and zero chance of winning if the Republicans are stupid  enough to nominate him.   The chances are that if Trump is not running - and I do not support his candidacy at all - that De Santis (the very competent and popular Governor of  Florida) would be the Republican candidate.

The sensible conservatives would vote for Pence or someone of the same calibre, but the despicable MAGA rednecks will never vote for Pence.

The Republican candidates were all complicit in keeping the incompetent pig in power by not having the character or the courage to impeach him when the opportunities arose.
That includes Pence, De Santis, Haley, Pompeo, Cruz and anyone else.
They all stink to high heaven.
Krusty is a weak and doddering old fool who will almost certainly lose to whatever candidate the Republicans put up but it's a sad indictment of the USA that they will have to choose between a geriatric 81 year old or a gutless, self-serving and arselicking coward . . . or maybe even the fat, conceited and incompetent pig himself!
What a choice!

Nonsense there never was any basis for impeaching Trump. His team all showed admirable loyalty until the Washington occupation…..which was a significant blunder. That ultimately disqualifies Trump, it has created too much baggage.

But it hasn’t disqualified Trumpism which continues to be totally relevant. Of the characters Pompeo and de Santis are strong candidates. Cruz is a bright Harvard educated man but inclined to make unnecessary mistakes .

As to Mike Pence, he was one of our best VPs, but would be a mere caretaker as President and after Biden we don’t need another caretaker. He simply doesn’t have the imagination to challenge the failed given wisdoms in economic, foreign and military policy.
