Mzansi not impressed with Nomvula Mokonyane's return to Parliament

Despite her serious implications with Bosasa bribery and corruption she is still there in a position of great influence.

Is Ramaphosa sincere or just another puppet and manipulation of a more disguised form taking place...I just don't trust these skel ms.

Seb

She knew she was going to be fired from the Cabinet nd then did not take up her seat because that would mean a loss in pension income to be a member of lower rank.

In the Cabinet announced yesterday most of the scoundrels were left out and despite the screams of some in the ANC and EFF Gordhan was retained,   Moveni was also retained as minister of Finance.

In any event Ramaphosa promised to reduce the Cabinet and he did so from 36 members to 28,   Should have reduced it to 25 - but at least he made an effort,   Pity about retaining a crook as Deputy President.

I've just noticed it now, Mike...thanks anyway...declined because deep inside she knows she's guilty and probably the best way to avoid further publicity.

The party earlier confirmed that Nomvula Mokonyane would no longer assume her newly-appointed “chair of chairs” position, completing a whirlwind week for the politician.

Nomvula Mokonyane “won’t return to Parliament”

The Parliament Chair of Chairpersons is meant to implement policies, directives and guidelines with regards to scheduling and coordination of committee meetings. This also includes general management of all National Assembly committees and subcommittees.

Mokonyane was pencilled in to oversee several committee programs and ensure that concerns from the public are attended to. But, just 48 hours after she was officially unveiled, her future in government has evaporated.

It is understood that Nomvula Mokonyane voluntarily withdrew her name from the list of MPs heading to Parliament
