Mitch is no longer Trumps bitch....It is all over folks...

The Republican era is also over.

Thanks to Trump the elections will now be more accessible to all registered voters, meaning Democrats will always be the growing majority. No more voter suppression by the conservatives in the Sunbelt like Florida, or the RedneckBelt -e.g. Alabama).
Thankfully the Rustbelt is committed to Democracy...

Also, younger generations have never seen such a large tilt to Democrats.
There is also talk about ending the electorate and making it a majority vote only.

The US has taken a path similar to Western Europe (and others around the world) in ideology and what the next steps are.

So confusing then that  the Republicans  picked up seats in the election. Incidentally I had a nice chat with Mitch back in 2019, a very contained Southern gentleman but a tough operator. You should know Trump  and Mitch campaigned jointly, with the money going to Mitch’s campaign.

Knowing him a bit, he would feel an obligation to the Donald, so I’m sure anything  he is doing now has been agreed with the Trump team.

It’s never quite what it seems.

"The Republican era is also over."

Maybe not, it depends on what happens in Georgia, if the Republicans win the senate it might work in their favour for them to work through things with the Democrats and by doing that they might win back the confidence of voters.

Only if the Republicans reinvent themselves more into a Western Europe/Oz/Canada style of conservative.

The younger generation in the US has never been so Democratic. They are more similar to other Western countries in their ideologies.
Cities are growing in the US, and this is where the jobs are all moving to. Cities mean more Democratic voters- even in red states.
