Why don't more conservatives vote for a decent person like this to be their leader, or someone like Mike Pence. Mike Pence was really the president of America and anything sensible that happened during this time was the result of him, and Trump was just a Big Brother tabloid-style president that spent most of his time on Twitter (before a life ban) with his Qanon base that loves his conspiracy reality.

Instead, they prefer Trump, who is pretty much a clone of Putin. The longer they hold power, the more authoritaria n they become. They are not presidential people, they just do not have the makeup to be a world leader.

William Barr Trump's own DOJ who was fired for not going along with Trump's scam that the election was rigged pointed out that Trump is not fit to be president, he just does not have the moral code or integrity. It is beyond ideology, Trump is just a piece of shit that has been a registered Democrat for much of his life.

A lot of conservatives were behind Romney in 2012. And he was a much better potential President than Obama. Two things did him in…he  came across as a stiff and couldn’t evoke any popular enthusiasm….secondly a Hurricane hit the East Coast and Obama had some great exposure just at the right time.

Romney would probably have been a decent president.

Romney is not a conservative at all - he is  the type known as Republican in Name Only - in other words he pleaded with Trump to support his candidature when he ran for a Senate seat in Utah and Trump supported him.   He then turned against whatever he promised  and  voted with the Democrats often enough.   He is on the Republican Party shit list and will not get the Republican Party support in Utah again.   So he may as well do his natural and support the Democrats in future and get him a safe seat as their candidate since he would never get a Republican nomination again.

If a conservative does not agree with Trump, then suddenly they are not Republican.
Dumb Mike the Trumpanzee, will believe anything his master says.
Trump is America's Putin, and the Republican party is degenerating into the Nazi Party.
America first, Nazi salute. Hail Trump.

SB

Stop talking BS,    It in fact has very little to do with Trump - more to do with adherence to support the Republican Party in legislation as determined by the majority of the Party caucus in the Senate.   Aside from that he  has like other members  got  insider links with companies getting state contracts - the people known as the swamp - so do not expect that anybody bar similar other Republicans in elected positions will support Romney in future.

The danger to the democratic constitution is NOT the Republican Party - it is solely with the Biden Administration who is undermining the constitution on a daily basis and numerous courts have declared their actions illegal and unconstitutional.    They now want to legalize election fraud in their latest legislation and also in that regard will run into the Courts - even though it is unlikely that the Democrats will get larceny through the Senate.

The first primary election is held in Texas tomorrow and it will be interesting to see what the results are.

Romney is a proper conservative. He has conservative values that he believes in and stands for.
It is a moral code of decency, unlike Putin or Trump. Romney has presidential character, unlike the nutcases that you all want to support.

I like Pence, think he'd be a damn good POTUS.

Anyway I like Ron DeSantis - the extremely popular Governor of Florida.    He is the best real candidate - Trump will be too old - but one of his so ns may end up as Deputy President choice of DeSantis.

Maaik...none of the Trump children will be in contention for public office anytime soon, they will never be seen as being their own man/woman, they'll always be in his shadow...Baron in 35 years maybe..

I like Ron too...it will be interesting to see what happens if Trump do decide to try again...I also think he's a bit too old and his ship has sailed,  but he can surely not be worse than the current circus...but he should probably not run...
