The something Trump wants are Rare Earth minerals, whoever owns it owns the future of techno and space, China has an abundance, Russia runs a distant second and the USA in comparison will be left behind at their mercy.

So I think Trump will soften Valerie up with land deals but hedge on the land that holds the much needed minerals. Trump has already told Zelensky that he wants 500 Billion worth of Rare Earth minerals and quite frankly he doesn't give a flying fart about the rest. Love Hero will be heralded for his art of the deal while Zelensky lies crushed under a bus.

The sticky point will be whether Valerie concedes the land which holds the minerals, the land he took off Ukraine and now occupies?

Any mining agreement wil also be done on an honest and tanparrant basis bsis without eriching any mining company at the expense of the people of Ukraine and without the eneed for excessive and corrupt usage o US Taxpayers.
