New evidence on the origins of the virus

Fox News is now reporting that multiple credible government sources are confirming the Corona Virus came out of the Wuhan Labs. This comes from the news desk, not the commentators....normally much more cautious in their positions.

Apparently US scientists who had visited the Lab a few years ago had warned that Wuhan was a security risk. Prophetically it seems because the information now available suggests the virus  was mistakenly released after a researcher was infected in an accident working with fruit bats.

No doubt we will hear more as time goes by, but this has now progressed beyond a conspiracy theory.

If that incident in the Wuhan lab is confirmed  then Chin a should pay heavy damages,  Secondly the lab should be monitored by foreign specialists on a regular basis and security should be controlled by the Chinese Government working together was specialists on the issue from other neutral countries.

Hope the war-mongerers do not get in control of the situation.

Trump’s responsibility.....restraining travel, engaging the private sector, allocating government resources, keeping the public informed, recommending general distancing and work practices....grade a minus.....minus because he allowed the experts’ view that it was ‘no problem’ to affect his initial language about the threat.

Faucci/CDC/other experts’ responsibility.....act as an early warning, ensure testing, rapid response on medicines, vet the numbers....grade d, they failed horribly at every step.

Governors’ responsibility to  enact distancing, ensure supplies are available, be self sufficient on hospitals and provide local safety guidance....d for NY, Ct, NJ....b for the rest of the country.

Army/Navy responsibility to augment resources and provide rapid military response.....a plus....an inspirational job.

Front line medical providers responsibility to risk themselves and their families to save others....a plus....humanity at it’s best.

When Trump announced the ban on entry of people from China the WGO said the ban would not help in stemming the spread of the virus, .   The  Democrats shouted racism.  When the same happened iro visitors from Europe the Governor of New York took him, to Court to try and override the Trump decision,  

Now what have we here - the January 2020 statements on the coronavirus all downplayed the issue and on statement even said that human-to-human transmission is not a problem. 

Trump issued the China ban at the end of January and the howls in the media were endless.  You claimed that Trump had Security Sector reports on the virus and did not act on it,  What should he take action on?  The media and the DP will have a fit if he acted on anything not recommended by the WHO,  The WHO declared the virus a pandemic only I think on 11 March 2020.

Now you have two issues here if Trump followed the WHO advice - the alleged Security Sector advice would fall by the wayside,  The same apply to if he followed the Security Sector advice and the WHO advice would have been negated,.  With the bunch of China-bribed Democrat Leadership lot?  what do you think he should have done under the circumstances?   

Legally the responsibility as to lock downs rests with the Governors  and not the President,   Now lets put it in perspective - the Governor of California panicked and contacted Trump.   After a discussion with Trump he thanked Trump publically for the assistance given by the Federal Government and declared a lock down.   What did the Governor of New York do?  Aside from taking Trump to Court on the issue  he did squat and the situation now is that 40% of the deaths in the USA are in New York,  Eventually after the problem struck New York with at least 2 000 deaths  Fredo Cuomo declared a lock down.   Could Trump overrule the NY Governor and declare a lockdown in New York?  Perhaps - but the matter would have ended up in the US Supreme Court and any implementation would have been delayed,    Who of Trump or Cuomo is to be blamed for the massive death tole in New York.   

Another simple question is what could Trump do other than he did?   Before looking at that answer look at the Federal Constitution please,                     

This is not new. It has been touted as the cause of the virus for months now. The lab was also identified as a threat years ago. 

Trump has probably just read it in Fox News, which is where he gets most of his intelligence from. It may well be true, but it is more of an allegation at this stage, than evidence. 

Evidence would be some type of proof. 

Trump is tailoring his reelection campaign for a certain audience that responds to nationalistic and religious sentiments. This will rally his supporters around him,

This is not a Trump vs China battle.This CCP regime has unleashed a virus onto the entire world.They should have stopped their Chinese from taking vacations and spreading it worldwide.

It was also an allegation that there wa s no threat of world wide contamination. 

Andrew Cuomo alleged that it was safe to go out and that there was no need to close schools.

Bill di Blasio alleged that their was no threat and that people should feel free to use public transport and carry on with their daily lives as usual.

Nancy Pelosi alleged that people should keep on shopping at the Chinese Market and take part in the Chinese parade.

How did all of that work out?

@Ceradyne, when this is all over their will be extensive investigations. This includes government responses, as well as WHO, China and anything and everything. 

This person running WHO may need to be changed. If it is decided earlier that he needs to be replaced, then so be it. 

The context of your usage of the term allegation seems incorrect, or at best clumsy. Allegation is more known for accusing someone of wrong doing such as in a court of law.

The term/concept allegation could be replaced with more appropriate words such as assumed, theorized, argued, stated, believed, claimed, understood etc.  These words would more likely be the result of incompetence or skill levels. I doubt it was corruption to intentionally mislead people- but that will need to be investigated.

Actually no....Trump has simply confirmed he has heard the theory. The sources are other unnamed players within the government. I first heard it via contacts in the pharma industry about a month ago.

China is a communist regime,old school.Still blaming the sin on foreign governments.Their disease control is a closed shop to the outside world.....their enforcers are physically manhandling foreigners.Chinese themselves NEVER interfere in disputes outside their own family,too risky.One remembers the iron curtain,this is the bamboo curtain , bamboozles everyone.

If this is true, then it stands to reason that China had every intention of releasing this virus on us at some stage in time.

The assertion is not that the virus was deliberately released, but rather that it’s the result of an accident.

Having said that this stuff is baked into Chinese culture. If you haven’t already watch the Red Cliff a Chinese epic as impressive as anything the West has produced. It’s a fabulous watch.

In the movie the Prime Minister battling a rebel faction deliberately releases a host of corpses recently dead from a plague. The corpses float downstream into a rebel barrier and  rebels strip the corpses of clothes and effects, rapidly spreading the disease and disabling many of their soldiers.
