In the EU elections the right wing partiues - alled far Right by th e emdia gained massively in te end and forced acenter parties to move to the right to survive.
The fact is that the support for the present German G overnment droppd t under 28% of the voters and in Fran ce the winners by more th an 16% was the RN party of Le Penne. So Macron tinking it may cause his Party to survive called Parliamentary elections for this Suday - te second round being on 7 July. His Party supposedly centrist has lost cotrol of the situation and will vanish within months to come.
In March 2024 opinion polls indicated that 41% of the voters supported Labor - the latest opinion polls indicate Labor getting 27% of the vote. Now lets get back to the Brexit referendum. It was the labor Party supporters in the UK that made te ifference when they voted for Brexit.
Will the same ahppen in the UK - where Labor support is now a according to the opinion polls is now 27%. If what happened in the EU elections happen in the UK election - both Labor and the Conservatives wil lose support of teh working class people and there may be - like in the EU election - surprising results coming out. In the EU election the center-left parties lost badly and the center parties were forced to move to the right to survive.
So the war on food production in Europe are likely to stop in it tracks because the workers saw what ws happening nd became poorer as a result.
So it would be ineresting to see what happened in the French election on Sunday and in the UK election next week. What I forsee is that the Conservative Party will suffer badly in that election because they tried to compete wit Labor in moving to the left spectrum of politicis in the UK. If the conseervative wish to survive in the UK then they would ahve to move to the cneter-right position they always supported and not become known as a center-left party with an open border policy in the Biden mode.
Both Parties - Labor and Conservatives - may find them to be deserted by the ordinary voters and may lose seats that they think are solid to the Reform Party. The working class voters are sick and tired of policies that force them further into poverty as a result of Party poliicians undermining them. The fact is that like in Italy the cost of living in the UK are driven up by the Ukraine War and nobody really wants WW3 to start on by crazyiness Biden and leftist policies want.
