 When one looks at the whole Brexit from a socialist /  communist background (as some inevitably do) then it obviously seems like a big mistake.  I can remember England fighting to stay out of the assimilation which the EU is.  In the beginning they even wanted England to forsake their currency and join this tower of Babel and their one-currency.
There's a very simple reason why nationalities, cultures and religions (or the lack thereof) are unique and different.  When you try and mix it all in one "pot" you are going to create a sordid mess.
Adding a sovereign country to the EU is like adding a dollop of ice cream to a pale of sh!!t - It does not really influence or change the pale but it definitely scres-up the ice cream to a point of non existence. 
Why then if you are so sure of your ideas and strategies do you not join a political party or a group where that brilliance can be put to good use?  Writing stuff on a forum will not change the big picture, your "side" needs your support!
