Denny agree with you in essence - but part of the problem is having a fool as President in the USA. All this could have been avoided if Biden did not cause the present chaos by destroying the withdrawal agreement and not undertaking the obligations of the USA to ensure that all parties would adhere to the said agreement. The US allies know what happened and it is clear they do not believe that the US would honor the undertakings.
By the way I saw a video about serious unrest in Australia caused by Covid restrictions and am very worried about friends like you in the present circumstances. I also phoned my dear family in Sydney - but they told me although inconvenient they are fine. Hope the same with you.
We all need to Overcome - South Africa is like a power keg ready to explode any time. The world we are living in became a mountain of uncertainties I am particularly anxious .about what the Chinese will do as a result of a vacuum of leadership in the USA,
I am fine, Australia is fine, the powers that be are doing what's necessary to control the situation but there is a minority who are selfish and irresponsible causing considerable damage.
