"Federal Sports Minister Richard Colbeck said Slater "has no chance of getting into the country" if he is not vaccinated.
"I reckon he knows the rules. It doesn't matter whether you're a surfer, or a tennis player, a tourist or anyone else, those are the rules. They apply to everyone," Colbeck said.
This may push Kelly Slater to finally retire, at the age of 50.
He needs to man up and get the vaccine, or he can only do some of the world tour.
Yes Denny, if laws have been followed by the Australians, and they have made sacrifices, why should sportspeople from other countries be exempt.
If laws had been followed most Australians wouldn’t be in Australia.
