The Panama canal is smehing different. There was a taeover ageement signed in he 1970's when Panama took ver he running of the canal system originally built by the USA, Howeve, there is a problem in th at t he Pnama Governmenr is not keeping to the ageement and i charging ehorbitant charges for using of the canal and since miost boats using the canal and is regarding the fees as a breach of the 1970's agrement and I think that the issue should e settled by a new agreement on usage of teh ccanal,
