I think Covid 19 virus is a real problem released by the Chinese to damage the economies of the west  enhancing the economic  and political competitiveness of China on a global basis,    In Europe it devastated the competitiveness of present Governments  in future elections and the weak leftist and socialist parties are strengthened.

In the USA  it opened up the way for the  takeover by the  Democratic Socialists with strong links to the Communists  of  the Government  of the USA  by using the witless Biden  as a front  and  democracy in the USA  are  seriously threatened,    

The Democrats have a  razor thin majority on the House and is now trying to unseat  an elected Republican from Iowa as a member of the House and replace her with the loser in the election.    When a political party takes over the responsibility of the courts in adjudicating legitimacy of elections and for that purpose  use the House majority  to determine who should be members  and who not, they follow the example of the Chinese of  unseating the members of the Hong Kong Assembly  who oppose  dictatorship.    It will set a major precedent in totally undermining democracy and that would mean any party with a majority in the House - however slight - can decide on who should be House members irrespective of what the voters decide on.    Some centrists in the House still members  of the DP realizes it and spoke out against it - but whether they would vote against the DP on that score is questionable.  A full dictatorship in the making.
