The following from News24:-
"Former US House speaker John Boehner, who stepped down last year, let fly with a stunning critique of fellow Republican and 2016 presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, labelling him the devil incarnate.

"Lucifer in the flesh" is how the ever-blunt Republican bigwig described Senator Cruz of Texas, who is struggling to block billionaire Donald Trump's march to the Republican presidential nomination, according to the Stanford Daily newspaper.

"I have Democrat friends and Republican friends," Boehner said. "I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life."

Boehner's remarks were made at a public talk late on Wednesday at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

During his tenure as the top lawmaker in Congress, Boehner rarely held back when frustrated or dissatisfied - especially with the gridlock in Washington.

But even by his standards, the Ohioan's unvarnished appraisal of a fellow Republican lawmaker who is running for nation's highest office was startling.

Goofballs

Cruz prides himself on standing up for his beliefs, but he also is widely seen as one of the more intransigent members of Congress.

Critics on both sides of the aisle blamed him for triggering a 16-day federal government shut-down in late 2013.

Boehner often expressed exasperation with those he viewed as blocking the work of Congress, and that temperament was on display at Stanford as he called members of the ultra-conservative Freedom Caucus "goofballs."

He also revealed he is friends and "texting buddies" with Trump and has played golf with the brash billionaire for years.

John Kasich, the Ohio governor who is trailing in the Republican nomination race, "requires more effort on my behalf than all my other friends," Boehner said. "But he's still my friend, and I love him."

The biggest establishment figure in the Republican Party was Boehmer.  He was booted out as house Speaker because he was constantly collaborating with Obama and his Democratic Friends in ensuring that the Obama Administration could have it their way.  He was vigorously opposed by Cruz and that is the reason for the attack on Cruz and the conservative "goofballs".

He now supports the Tr umpet democratic plant as presidential candidate - they have similar friends - Boehmer and the Obama clique and the Tr umpet and the Clinton clique.   And then we have a person on this site screaming out against the Rp and supporting a person who is an unprincipled plant as the RP candidate.

Boehmer was removed because he was selling out the RP to the Obamas and Clintons.  Cruz and other real Republicans opposed him in making deals with Obama which was  in contrast to what the RP candidates told the electorate in the mid-term elections.   There is a great similarity in what the Tr umpet tells the public now and what he will do as President if he ever gets there - he will do a Boehmer on them.   However, the Trumpet is clever - he stole the ideas of the RP candidates in the mid-term elections and as result he fooled the people about hat his real intentions are.

Birds of a feather flock together.

Cruz makes my skin crawl, when you have a self-righteous politician like him you know he can justify anything he does & you know he will judge others as a way to block understanding & reasonableness. These characters have brittle personalities & when they show their own human frailties watch out, they become even more self-righteous & dangerous.
Trum@p is another case all together but being opposed by Cruz won't do him much harm. Trum@p doesn't have decent republican opposition so he may well get more delegate votes & we will have to see what the Repubs do about it, they really screwed up in that they didn't put forward decent candidates.

Its the quality of dimwits like ou maaaaikie ad JW which makes political discourse difficult as these two lack political acumen and have NO INSIGHT WHATSOEVER.These two dopes dont understand even the battle lines or where things are heading. Deplorable ignorance at play. Sigh!!!!
All I can suggest to thse two empty heads is that you read as many of the posts as posssible. Then go onto various websites and read the bloggers.
I find the bloggers on USA websites and EU websites are seeing ever more clearly what the battle is all about. To give you two halfwits a clue I will tell you. It's about nationalists fighting to regain control of their countries from multiculturalist globalists. That is the bottom line. The globalists want a one world order. Now mark these words and watch how it plasy out in the years to come.
Its now all out in the open and being spoken about everywhere.  Tru*mp is a nationalist and is making the globalist donor class very worried.
When things are so obvious one wonders if these two dopes have any clue whatsoever or indeed any desire to find out what is happeneing.Beeno labouring on but the subject is too big for the class of ou maaaike and JW. Good guys but woefully ignorant.

Sadly Beeno is ranting & raving like a lunatic once again.
Surely he will gain his wits once again. One feels obliged to remain optimistic no matter how remote the possibilities
PS Best stick to rugby mate your wee stormers need all the help they can get. The Mighty Chiefs of course are atop the leader board, fair play is always well rewarded

If the Tr umpet  becomes the RP presidential candidate - the RP will be destroyed - loosing both their majorities in the House of Representatives and the Senate, while Clinton would mop the floor with the Tr umpet in the presidential race.
The Tr umpet is a demagogue who has stolen some republican ideals and turned it into a joke - a plant of the DP to cause havoc in the presidential campaign.   Anybody failing to see that is politically stupid and lives in a dreamworld - sad to say.

I saw a article, but never bothered to read it as its so obvious, that a democrat strategist says Trum*p will beat hillary. Its going to be easy.Hillary is doomed the electorate dont trust her becuase of all her lies and there is a mountain of stuff Tru*mp can use aginst her.

All I also want is BREXIT.  What a huge setback for the multiculturalist globalist elites world government programme which is aimed at enslaving manking. Pure evil.Poor hillaery will wonder how her so called plant kicked her out of the race. Hhahahahaha
Fact is Trum*p bought all these things to the table but wee cruzie who is disintegrating by the day and becoming more and more hysterical. cruzie voted agiant the Tru*mp platform suite of issues but when he saw that Trum*p was winning on these issues he changed track.
