I have always embraced honesty, that is why I believe in God, I've seen so much dishonesty in people... I surmise we all seek the truth. One of my favourite singers when I was a youth was Cat Stevens, who sang many great lyrics, with beautiful songs like "Peace Train," "Father and Son", "Where do the Children Play" and " On the Road to Find Out" and many others and was captivated by his guitar playing by thumb and forefinger use on the Gibson- J 180.

Cat converted to Islam after a near death experience whilst swimming in some sea and the current took him out to sea and near death and he prayed to save him and a huge wave came in and brought him to the shore. He believed in God but sadly took on Islam as a result. That is sad, because you can almost get there and miss the boat. Religion NEVER saves only Christs payment of our sins, mine, yours and everyone who has lived. He paid the price of it all, it's a gift...you don't EARN it, it's FREE, you can either RECEIVE it or REJECT it...it's different from man who never gives grace, an eye for an eye mentality. We are all sinners and don't deserve salvation because we all sin.

Anyway, I pray for Cat Stevens, a flawed man but I have a soft spot for him.

Funny how every religious person is convinced they picked the correct one and everyone else is deceiving themselves.

They can't all be right but they can certainly all be wrong.

If there is a God the chances you got it right are stacked against you to almost guarantee you picked the wrong one.

You are taking a huge risk offending the real God (if such a thing exists) by following a false one (which you most certainly are just based on statistics).

Still you can plead ignorance and see how that goes I suppose.

So Doos reckons atheism is some kind of religion, Cat Stevens is dead and Catholicism comes from Babylon.
