Open AI signs deal with Pentagon.

OpenAI has signed a deal with the Pentagon on mass civilian surveillance and AI use of weapons where AI can autonomously decide to use or detonate weapons without human interference.

OpenAI says they have placed restrictions on what the government can use it for, but does that really mean they won’t use it for exactly these things?

The idea of mass surveillance of civilians is hair-raising and it scares me. So what does this actually mean for users? Is ChatGPT still safe?

On the other hand, Claude and Anthropic have decided decisively not to work with the government or the Pentagon military, which is why I decided to also download Claude.

I find it difficult to trust OpenAI or ChatGPT in the future when they are working together with systems like that. What do you guys think?

How come it bothers you that mass surveilance is hair-raising now - but not a problem when the Bioden Admibnistration actively iplmented it and spied illegally on 1,3 million people. The FBI Head Office had 11 000 staff membes whose only job was intenal spying on people in the USA and had nothing to do with actual crime=fighting,
