Pelosi's Kamikaze flight to Taiwan

A comedy of errors...

As if the nuclear tensions between Russia and the world, plus a new global recession due to a rise in energy prices were not enough- Pelosi decides to fly to Taiwan.

America is run by out-of-touch geriatrics. Apparently social media in China postings were calling for her plane to be shot down. 

Biden apparently was not even aware she left, when she left or why she left. Someone woke him up from his daily nap and she was already on her way. 

While I support the independence of Taiwan, it is a battle that they just can't win. They are far too small to defend themselves and too distant. Economic sanctions by the West could be considered, but giving them arms to fight China is non-sensical. 

These wars just damage international trade and the economy. Imagine a world without war, the global economy would probably be much better. 

It is a lose-lose situation.
a) Ignore these aggressive authoritarian countries, and they will just continue to attack more countries.
b) Apply financial sanctions and it damages the world economy and risks escalation -
 or even nuclear war. 

China showed a hostile response by firing "test" weapons around the Island. It had a Putin style of aggression, or perhaps even worse. 

If the Taiwanese want to fight the West should help them…but there is no value to Pelosi’s political stunt. What was she thinking.

Pelosi is just interested in what kick back their would be to her crime family in the case of Taiwan.      

China will invade Taiwan just like Russia did the Ukraine ... and the world will sit back and do nothing.

Then they'll invade another, testing the world's reaction. 

Sleepy Joe will cower in his basement all a tremble. 

Hitler did the same ... and it took an age before Britain stepped in.

Prophecy has it that China and India will amass an army of 200 million soldiers and march on Israel.  

We have weak leaders like Biden and Pelosi running the show today. 

The US is going to implode and will not be a factor in the last days. They aren't even able to get their own country under control, never mind stepping in and taking up a position of strength against the likes of China and Russia.

This is all going to plan.

We're going to see a shitstorm hit the world. 

Taiwan posses very valuable microchip technology China is willing to go to war for...

1. The Chinese don't have the expertise to to operate Taiwan microchip manufacturing facilities. The microchips China manufacturers itself are way less advanced/complex then what Taiwan makes.

2. Taiwanese microchip production requires various components to manufacture microchips from other countries like America and Japan.

3. Assuming China did have the expertise and components, who would buy them from after a hostile take over of Taiwan? The West and western aligned countries are currently where the vast majority of these chips are sold too.

Its not the reason China would go to war.

One of the reasons why China would invade Taiwan is for their quality microchips. That's obviously part of their game plan to dominate the world.  

As I said China could not operate Taiwan's microchips production facilities, they do have the components nor the expertise. And assuming a successful Chinese invasion you also have to assume the Chinese take the production facilities intact and the Taiwanese don't destroy them before they fall into enemy hands. That's a very big assumption.

What Taiwan has in microchip production capacity took decades and billions worth of R+D to develop. China would take many years to replicate that and that's just to get to the point Taiwan is currently at. While they are doing that the rest of the world will be moving their microchip technology forward.

The West and western aligned countries will sanction China every bit as hard as it did Russia, except China is way more vulnerable to sanctions than Russia is, because unlike Russia its far more dependent on imports for its economy. Absolutely the loss of Taiwan production will for years reduce the supply and increase the cost of microchips and damage the world economy but the West will adjust just like how Europe is now in the process of shaking off its dependence on Russian energy and the likes of America, Japan, South Korea would just end up taking over an increasing share of advanced microchip manufacturing.

Besides ... who's to say that China will be willing to part with these microchips?

They can keep them if they want, what are they going to do with them?

If China take over Taiwan, I assume they would just keep the factories running with the same staff. Some staff may resign, but perhaps others would not and it would be business as usual.
The CCP may force the same staff to train the Chinese, while keeping the "shop" running 

The future is computers, and China is one of the few countries that are a threat to the US in the computer industry with stuff like AI etc.

Although with China going backwards politically, perhaps they will just get weaker as a country- and like Russia have no other choice but to invade other country for resources

I think you underestimate how difficult and risky an invasion of Taiwan would be for China. Russia is struggling to subdue Ukraine and Ukraine was only preparing for war for Russia for 8 years. Taiwan has 50 years to prepare for war with China. The geography of the island also strongly favor the defenders a reason why the US did not invade it during WW2. Last by no means least there is 100 miles of sea protecting it. China doesn't actually have that many amphibious assault transport ships which it would be very heavily reliant on to keep any invasion force supplied. If those got taken out any chance of holding Taiwan would be gone. So the Chinese would need to be supremely confident of protecting those and very confident it could counter US submarines. China has on paper the largest navy in the world but in qualitative terms its a long way behind the US navy. On paper Taiwan has no chance against China alone but if America and western aligned countries back it, that's an entirely different story.

Firstly its a mute point, they can't run those plants. High tech weaponry and equipment do not just use microchips alone. They are component of it but that having access to them alone does not mean you automatically have advanced weaponry and equipment. As for the rest of the world they will adapt and eventually start their own production of these microchips. It will take a while but they will be able to do it quicker than China who they will no longer be sharing any advancements in technology they make. In fact it will have the opposite effect of what you think and China will actually fall further behind in microchip technology.

With who exactly, they are not very popular, except on a few small Pacific islands. Loads of SE Asia countries fear China or have disputes with them, so they are hardly going to ally with them.

You can argue as much as you like  - but the fact is that the USA used to be feared by other countries - but the present President is not feared by anybody since he is a corrupt and clueless person.   He is in fact a puppet and not the real President.   

Pelosi is as corrupt as Biden is.   She was involved in corruption in Ukraine and a visit by her to Kiev followed within days after the House passed a motion to provide $1 billion additional to the $40 billion grated to assist Ukraine Defense Department.    The $1  Billion paid to te Ukraine Government is obviously to be used by her and a few other Democrats to enrich themselves.   That is how the USA was operated under Obama and now again by Biden.    

Trump found out about the operation of the kick back system and how it benefit Democratic Party leaders and that led to the Impeachment Farce.    Pelosi's son was her agent in  Ukraine in 2014 and he got away with $25 million in US foreign aid and she will not visit Taiwan and only if there is kick backs involved in future financial assistance.   

It is a corrupt and sick system operated by the Democratic Party in the USA and there are heaps of Documentary evidence  of transactions they are involved in.    The FBI and Justice Department have been captured and is used  to protect crooked Democrat Politicians.   In the recent ruling on abortion  - the Judges of the Supreme Court mentioned that the real reason they want States to lay down laws to prevent corrupt practices in which billions of dollars were involved iro abortions.   However - the media did not say a world about it - but the lies in the fake media started about the decision.   .      .    .

Pelosi's trip was sanctioned at the highest level in the Demorats administration in a desperate effort to detract from the following:

1. Inflation.

2. The shares her husband bought and his Drunk-Drug story.

3. A bid to influence voters that the Biden admin. has full control of all events unfolding such          as the borders, crime, finances  and world security.

4. Detract from the Hunter/Joe Biden criminal corruption issue.

5. Hoping that this "Taiwan Trip" will sway voters to return to good old Demorat support at the      polls and mid term elections.

6. All this plus the fixing of the job numbers for last month - magically more than double the         expected number.

I’m afraid a lot of what you say is true Arthur. I also agree with Anger that an invasion of Taiwan would be tough if you had the kind of limited war as in the Ukraine. 

It's all irrelevant. As irrelevant as America itself. It'll pass away soon, and that can't come fucking soon enough!

The Chinese are much more advanced in the Technology field than they get credit for.

Even though most of the knowledge and manufacturing has been transferred from the USA to China by greedy business the Chinese have used all and every trick in the book and more to gather as much technical info and data as possible asap.

From congressmen knocking up Chinese spy operatives to political operatives  like Adam "Pencil-Neck", Pelosi  to Hunter and "The Big Guy" willing to sell their country for a million or two.

So even though the Chinese have used unethical means to obtain all this info, data and knowledge all they have done is play on the failings of some of the USA folks lack of decency, pride in their country, greed and just common morals.

Lets face facts - the USA has at present a corruptee  shit President and he is played  like a puppet by some world leaders.   Chna knows it as well ands the chances are that they wwould attack Taiwan.

The Chinese roots and ties run deep in most countries including Taiwan, Japan, USA and they have infiltrated every technological field that exists.

I have worked with companies in China, and the response and policy has always been "If we don't have the product's we will get them for you".

If folks for a second believe that the Taiwan industries irrespective of the technology are safe, secure and out of reach of the Chinese Mainland think again.

Yes, I agree that the Chinese might not have every single piece of highly classified info available but if they want it they can and do get it.

Plus the American Universities are turning out hundreds of  Engineers (Chinese) every year compared to all other countries. Most with top grades and proud of their heritage and country.

What are these Engineers going to do once they go home...surely not work at McDonalds.

I never said they where a sleep at the wheel, China has come along way in its ability to build advance technology such as semi conductors but its still several years behind what Taiwan can produce.

China has apparently has been producing 7nm chips since mid last year, after basically copying TMSC's design which is a significant step forward for China but that's still 2 process nodes behind what TSMC, Intel and Samsung can make.

China can simply buy the latest tech and try to copy it but reserve engineering takes time. Like wise spying and corporate espionage will never be as efficient as when countries are sharing the R+D in agreement.
