You know the one about cultivating blue roses. we have treated the cuttings of white roses and the wood in the cuttings have turned blue. We planted the cuttings in specially prepared soil and the first new leaves are now beginning to appear and the leaves have a have a blueish tint.
I do not want a plant with blue leaves - I want to get at blue roses.
I am getting in a few hundred new cuttings on Friday and we will use some of them of colo rs other than white to use for experimental purposes as well.
