President Obama's farewell speech . . .

Riveting and emotional or just a typical politician's bluster?

 There's not much more I can add other than to say that in my opinion President O is less of a politician and more of a statesman. I've listened to most of his speeches and they all have the same thread.....he is a decent human being.

I was very impressed with Obama's acceptance speech 8 years ago and I'm sorry I missed his farewell speech.

 He is quality. Watched the whole thing live. The temps hit 40c today but I refused to run off to the beach until I'd heard his speech which started after midday.

 The last person to impress me as an orator was Martin Luther King jnr with his "Address to the Churches" I suspect President O would have studied and learnt from him...there are many similarities.

What was said is untrue and I dropped my standards and felt ashamed of myself. I must insist that you refrain from mentioning family in any of our future spats and I promise to do the same. Say and think of me what you want but please let my parents RIP.
