All my life long I put my country before anything else. I was a civil servant who served the people - especially the poor. For long periods in my career I worked 7 days a week and twelve hours per day - especially when I was responsible for providing housing to slum-dwellers and try to make sure they got access to necessities in life. This brought me at times in conflict with the National Party Government - I clashed with them when I stated politicians should not interfere directly with Administration.
In dealing with the National Party Government there were cabinet members who were dishonest and for me that was the worst thing anybody in Government and at least four National Party ministers spent long time in jail,
In any event I believed that public servants - and that include first and foremost should do their jobs honestly and not enrich themselves. In the time before the ANC took over ad subsequently I voted for the Democratic Alliance - but that did not stop me from doing my duties to the public we are serving. That was instilled in a way by my parents whose outlook was liberal. Anyway I neve was a member of the National Party - so your comments as being wrong since it clashed with my basic principles in life.
I developed links with the ANC and that does not mean I did not realize their deficiencies. However, y objective all along was to raise money from Government and the private sector for housing and infrastructure development. Things did not go totally off the rails until 2007 when Zuma was elected as ANC President, I told the ANC Mayor in the area that Zuma will destroy the country. One of the worst things Zima did was to use the Police and National Prosecuting Authority to prevent politicians being arrested hen hey commit bribery and corruption.
It was for me a shock to learn what the USA politicians and Bureaucrats are up to. They are anytime as corrupt as the ANC at its worst is in SA. Biden and his family as well as other crime families like those of Pelosi and Schiff made themselves very rich though bribery and corruption. I saw plenty of documented evidence of corruption by senior politicians and Bureaucrats.
That brings me to the Ukraine issue. The country was known as the most corrupt in Europe. In 2014 the USA Government organized and funded a coup in Ukraine and replaced the leadership with people they wanted in power. As a result a Civil War broke out in Ukraine between the Ukrainians and the Russian speaking residents in Ukraine - which never stopped. The situation got worse when Bide became President and oppression of Russian speaking people became worse. There was no limit to criminality and oppression since the Ukraine Constitution was thrown out of the window
There was various attempts to stop the Civil War - eg the Minsk agreement of 2015 i- which was sabotaged by the Obama and Biden Administration. You can read what that Agreement entailed. Be it as it may the Ukraine became the country where looting of US Government Aid by crooks attached to the both the Ukraine and the US Government. There ae no action against crooking by Government,
Be it as it may the War could have been avoided through honest negotiation. The Biden Presidency sabotaged the agreements reached, That does not mean that I support Russia. All I sometimes do is to try and point out the outrageous conduct of the US Government and media propaganda.
