Complete silence coming out of Ukraine about this incursion. Looks to be a pretty significant development, Ukraine has already breached Russia's only two lines of defence in Kursk sector with raids and battles taking place as deep as 20km into Russia. Some reports indicating the area was defended by just conscripts and Akhmat (dubbed the TikTok Fighters) and both apparently fled and Russia is now scrambling to respond.

All sorts of speculation as to what the goal is. Could a drive towards Kursk be possible or the Kursk nuclear power plant, is at attempt to create an operation encirclement around Belgorod, it is a plan to take as much  Russian territory as it can to use as leverage in potential future negotiations, or it Ukraine simply creating a large diversion to draw away Russian troops from other sectors of the front.

First of all comments by a person shrown out of Russa in 1996 because Yeltzin did not want to sour relationships with the USA in trowing the crook in jail and should be under normal crcustances would have a 30 years jail sentense - I do not tak kindly to actions of criminals.

Trump was approached by Zelenskyy for help in settling the issue  through negotations and Putin knowing that he has to deal with a principled President in the USA and not the present corrupt and weak shit ruining the USA - is still hoping for a Harris win in the election in Noveber and released 3 Americans - who got into trouble in Russa through their own idiocy.  Putin knows they are useless and he just release them to help the Democrat Pary in the upcoming election.  He loves to have idiotic and corrupt sheeple in charge in Washington destroying world stability.

Name me one post where I approve of the Russian nvasion of JUkraine and where I did approve of the war.   I condemn the invasion but constantly call for peace in Natal.

I did not support ethnic cleansing in Ukraine and definitely not the way the USA control the Government in Ukraine.   Based on documented proof te US funded the 2014 coup in Ukraine and since then control totally what happened in Ukraine.   They wanted a war to replace the fghan war and the blame for the war itself is directly the result of the corrupt shit in Government of the USA at present.

When early in the invasion Turkey tried to arrange a ceasefire in Ukraine and even the Ukraine ambassador in Turkey - who was actually was present at the meetings admitted  progress was made - the Ukraine Foreign Minster received an instruction from the State Department in Washington to leave Istanbul immediately and not initial anything.   

Zelenskyy campaigned on the basis of finding a peaceful solution and got overwhelng support -he soon found ut that the Ukraine Government is controlled by the regime in Washigton.   So I am nt surprizd tha Zelenskyy -wanting to save his own bacon - approached Trump to help him to arrange for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine on the best basis possiblle.   

Putin knows that Biden is a corrupt idiot and so is Harris and Walz -  the wrost being they are poor leads as well - and is hoping for a Harris victory - because he knws that Trump is a difficult person to negotiate anything on and puts te nterests of the USA first and will cnsider Ukraine on that basis - wll negotiate with Putin from a position fo strength and would get better results from Ukraine.    Tak for instace the brahamic accrd which Biden thrwew utof the window asap and now we have the Mid-east at war again.   Nxt thing will be China nvading South Korea and Taiwan.
