Putin's Sham Elections in Ukraine to cause World War 3?

Putin is busy doing rushed sham elections to declare parts of Ukraine as Russian territory.  

So, if American and EU-supplied weapons are used by Ukrainians against "Russia's "new territories, Putin says he will resort to using nuclear weapons. 

Covid has changed the world. Everyone seems a degree crazier than before Covid.

Does the West back down and let Russia have some of Ukraine, or do they call Putin's bluff by allowing Ukrainians to use its weaponry in the Ukraine territories declared as Russian?

It will set a precedent for the future in how to deal with nuclear threats. Is Putin crazy enough to pull the trigger?

Like to think sanity prevails and putins people will give him a shot of ricin and claim a heart attack killed him before that happens.

Call me gullible but I like to think 99.9999% of the world's population  realise that no one wins a nuclear war.

The .000 1% of people (a few on here, you know who you are) get a hard on at the thought of billions of people being incinerated so they can get to the pearly gates quicker and claim their golden mansion.

Good to be in the Southern Hemisphere if some crazy commander of a Russian nuclear submarine presses the wrong button.What good is it obliterating Russia if there's a dozen subs waiting out there to deliver.

I would also like to think that Putin would be taken out by his own people before it ever gets to the nuclear option stage.

Then again, you have people like that one Russian lady news anchor who said Russia should have bombed the UK when all the world leaders were together in the cathedral for the Queen's funeral...
