Putin up's the Ante: Russia Suffering 2000 Casualties Per Day

It seems Putin has upped the ante and mustered 50,000 soldiers to try to reclaim Kursk (some from North Korea). He is throwing his troops to the wolves.

Putin will likely retake Kursk before Trump takes office in 2 months. Russian casualties are at 2,000 per day- and likely to increase. 

Trump is a wild card. He could side with Putin, but his ego makes him volatile- so if Putin double-crosses him, his friendship with Putin may end.
