I believe that Escom is being pushed by banks/lenders to pay back the R300bn it has borrowed but Escom's latest financial disclosure declared a bank balance of just over R30bn.
Looks to me like the old Afrikaans name for Africa is about to include RSA soon.
The name was "DONKER AFRIKA"
No more blackouts or whatever they do to rotating power cut offs ......looks like candles are back in.
