The two major companies from the USA that got contracts from SA Government involving millions through obvious kickback means - namely Bains iro the SA Revenue Service and McKinsey (Eskom and the SA Rail Service).
Apparently both these companies have had or still has links to US Politicians - eg Bains had close ties with Mitt Romney and the institutional framework he introduced in the company are still use as the company basis of operation.
However, the links between the Democrats and McKinsey is a major problem as is evidenced by the following:-
"Just a week before the Times broke Rebate-gate, Joe Biden announced that he’d chosen McKinsey’s deputy general counsel and head of public affairs, Louisa Terrell, as his head of legislative affairs. Now, Axios reports that Biden is considering Pete Buttigieg to be his ambassador to China. Buttigieg, too, spent his profoundly unidealistic youth at McKinsey, as I wrote about in Jacobin a year ago"
There obviously is a problem when US Politicians have links to a company that operated on a corrupt basis in other countries in the world when the Company which have huge Government contracts in the USA, but are also working for the Chinese Communist Party Government in China, can be regarded as corrupt and the question is does it not foster corruption in the USA as well. Why are corruption in the USA becoming institutionalized and companies protected as a result of their links to Government?
How can countries like SA ever be successful with there struggles against State Corruption when corrupt US politicians and Public Servants have links to corrupt US companies?
