Interesting Article given the current climate...

"I think that it's a very scary time for young men in America when you can be guilty of something that you may not be guilty of," Trump said Tuesday afternoon outside the White House. "This is a very difficult time." [...]

"You could be somebody that was perfect their entire life and someone could accuse you of something," Trump told reporters Tuesday afternoon. "You are truly guilty until proven innocent."

So the NY Prosecutor never brought the case, Trump did. Beyond belief....the drumbeat of sheer stupidity is epic.

Ouch!
Looks like Bozo shouldn't have said it's a scary time for young men, he should have said it's a scary time for young, white, entitled, smug, arrogant, rich men with no respect for women.

Uhmmn Trump did not falsely accuse them. They were charged in a court of law, found guilty by a jury and convicted by the court. Trump led an outcry against this and similar crimes. The fact that there was shyte going on with the investigations and probably the trial as well had nothing to do with Trump. He was just as pissed off about the rape as probably every straight thinking citizen, unless you are happy with people running around and raping people and beating them to a pulp. Trump’s role was the following, according to Wikipedia: On May 1, 1989, real estate magnate Donald Trump called for the return of the death penalty when he took out full-page advertisements in all four of the city's major newspapers. Trump said he wanted the "criminals of every age" who were accused of beating and raping a jogger in Central Park 12 days earlier "to be afraid".[82] The advertisement, which cost an estimated $85,000,[82] said, in part, "Mayor Koch has stated that hate and rancor should be removed from our hearts. I do not think so. I want to hate these muggers and murderers. They should be forced to suffer ... Yes, Mayor Koch, I want to hate these murderers and I always will. ... How can our great society tolerate the continued brutalization of its citizens by crazed misfits? Criminals must be told that their CIVIL LIBERTIES END WHEN AN ATTACK ON OUR SAFETY BEGINS!"[83] In a 1989 interview with CNN, Trump said to Larry King: "The problem with our society is the victim has absolutely no rights and the criminal has unbelievable rights" and that "maybe hate is what we need if we're gonna get something done."[84] What, in Trump’s remarks don’t you agree with?

Well, i don't like the "hate" thing, but the rest is probably why he got elected president.
