I remember you said that you did end up buying some crypto.

Have you been keeping an eye on the crypto space lately? 

BC has been great, even after the fall from it's all time high. Over the last 8 or so weeks it's dropped close to 400k and then back to 500k a good few times, once hitting R550. Click 90 day chart for reference

Cardano and Eth are looking set to explode in the next year. Eth2.0 is coming soon, far as I can tell, people are very interested.

Do check out DeFi. I'm sorta skeptical currently, mainly for silly reasons, but on principle, it's probably a preview of what's to come. I'd urge you to check it out if you don't already know what it is. People are damn clever these days!

Truthfully, I'm hooked. Not to the gamble but rather on keeping up with developments.

What are your thoughts?

Plum a time could be coming when Governments crack down of Bitcoin etc for obvious reasons.

Make sure you at least recover our initial investment.

Already recovered my investment.

The US government started their own Cryptocurrency recently. 

China shutting down their mining farms isn't necessarily a free-pass for crypto but it sure does make keeping it around a lot more attractive to Western governments.

You rate they'll ban crypto because it's slowly absorbing wealth from conventional assets?

Have you looked at DeFi? 

Plum Bitcoin etc can circumvent exchange controls, avoid tax, be used in money laundering and funding international terrorism.

Governments won't allow this or allow their currency that they control be overtaken by Crypto currencies like Bitcoin. 

When this will happen I don't know. I am surprised nothing much has been done up to now. 

In reality a huge amount of energy is used to create precisely nothing. 

Greed drives the prices ever higher. 

The blochchain gets ever longer and slower. 

Governments may start their own cryptos.

As things stand now I missed out being too far ahead of the curve. ??

I don't see governments banning crypto.

They might tighten restrictions and checks about capital being sent off shore and or monitor it more closely for tax purposes, but I don't see how they could simply shut the show down.

Front companies and so on are nothing new. But you can't close down all fast food joints simply because the Triads use them launder money. 

TBH, I haven't yet watched the links you posted but will do so today.

The moment fiat currencies show weakness, cryptos climb. And people are saying that we're looking at a recession in the near future...possibly a big one. 

If Biden's ridiculously stupid mega trillion $ bill gets through, which it in all likeliness won't, BC will skyrocket....10x or even 20x.

Everywhere I read, it's saying, regardless of what occurs, BC should do 5x by the end of the year.
