Russian President Vladimir Putin Compares Woke Left to Bolshevism, Calls for Rise of ‘Rational Conservatism’

Putin one has to say sounds eminently sane when compared to these woke Marxist nutjobs!

The resident pervs here will be in a froth!

Russian President Vladimir Putin is calling for “rational conservatism” to rise and defeat the plague of radical leftism, which he compares to the cruel and asinine Bolshevism movement that once took hold over his country.

Putin made the comments while speaking at the Valdai club forum on Thursday. He does not want the wave of degeneracy that is destroying the West to do the same in his nation.

He said that “looking at what is happening in various Western countries,” it reminds him of the follies of Russia’s past. He said that support of tolerance and diversity in countries like the U.S. and Britain has reached the point of “aggressive dogmatism on the verge of absurdity.”

Putin also criticized the embrace of transgender dogma that is convincing children they are the opposite sex of their birth, claiming these practices are “on the verge of a crime against humanity,” adding that the LGBT movement “has become a total phantasmagoria.”

“Moderate conservatism is, in my opinion, the most reasonable course of action. Of course, it will inevitably change, but so far the medical principle of ‘do no harm’ seems to be the most rational,” he said to conclude his social critique.

Big League Politics has reported on Putin’s emergence as an unlikely defender of Western values as the far left tears apart the fabric of society at breakneck speed:

Russian President Vladimir Putin is intending to press U.S. President Joe Biden on human rights violations that are being perpetrated against Trump supporters who attended the mostly-peaceful protest at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has pointed out in recent weeks how U.S. authorities are violating human rights of their dissidents, which is a criticism frequently leveled against the Kremlin by Washington D.C. elites.

“We are ready to talk, we have no taboo topics. We will discuss whatever we think is necessary. We will be ready to answer the questions that the American side will raise. This also applies to human rights,” Lavrov said during a press conference that took place on Monday in Moscow.

“For example, we are following with interest the persecution of those persons who are accused of the riots on January 6 this year,” Lavrov continued, adding that “a lot of really interesting things are happening from the point of view of the rights of the opposition and protecting those rights” in the U.S

Russia is taking a stand for Trump supporters at a time when most Republican politicians are either silent or cheering on Democrat oppression against them. Even if it’s for mere geopolitical points on the world stage, the fact that Putin , of all people, can claim more concern for dissidents than the current leadership of the United States is a remarkable sign of the times.

Even if one disagrees with Putin’s heavy-handed tactics as Russian leader, it is hard to disagree with his common sense sentiments against modern psychotic leftism.

Tend to agree and that's why unfounded Russophobia tends to dominate a fast falling world.

I'm also aware of some of his faults too as I have connections with friends and associates in that totally misunderstood land.

Russia and it's people believe in, live and let live...let us alone, we have to fix our own backyard first, we don't want to change our country to fit the global agendas, we have our own identities. We are proud to be what we are. We will respect other countries, whatever their views, beliefs and views as long as you leave us alone. We have our own hills to climb, we are not a threat. We are big enough, have a vast land, many cultures and more natural resources than any country still to be mined, discovered and developed.

Putin's problems in Russia relate mainly to the older guard that enjoyed state benefits under Communism but they are dying out.

Ironically modern Russia (The Federation of Russia) is probably more capitalistic than the rest of the world. They have had a guts full of the socialistic policies of USSR, that isolated them in so many ways.

Yes Putin has faults but they respect him, feel secure with him as he is a strong leader and has no truck with decadent liberal and woke idealogies. Not the pussycat leaders in Western countries. Fence sitters and senile coffin dodgers that fall on steps when boarding a flight.

I'll get attacked here, but that's ok because it comes out of fearful and ignorant people that believe in what they read in left wing media.

Expect Shark and Rooi go ballistic and get hot under the collar and insults galore.

Putin is a joke. He skipped the 3rd phase of Covid vaccine testing so he could launch the first vaccine in the world. His health minister stepped down - but Putin was delighted with Sputnik5.

People in Russia would prefer a vaccine created by a Democracy. They are not anti-vaxxers, they are anti-Putin. They do not trust him.

He appears to cheat in all elections, a dictator that is not following the will of the people,
He would never buy Western vaccine - even if means Russians will die. It would make him look bad by using Western vaccines.

Anyone that takes a vaccine would prefer those created by Democracies - not by a dictator that has the authority to approve vaccines himself to promote himself.

Russia has a small economy - at least relative to the size of its population. So, they will have their fair share of stupid people, probably his own supporters. Mostly religious simpletons that are not Democratic, so they need to have a Middle East type of strong man leader.

Wasn't Communism supposed to be left-wing? Now he is suddenly a conservative?
Like African politics - left wing as the opposition party, but far right-wing once they have assumed power.

""Not the pussycat leaders in Western countries. Fence sitters and senile coffin dodgers that fall on steps when boarding a flight".

Yet the "Democratic" West produces the richest countries in the world per capita.
If these so-called Dictators were so effective, why are they the most backward economies per capita?

Some of you are just old, and the world will always change. That is part of being old... being set in your own ways, even if it is proven as outdated - at least for some old people.
Just because you disagree, does not mean that change is wrong.

Religious conservatism in the West is on the way out, as the younger someone is - the more they reject these outdated Moses Muslim Arabic values.
Conservatism will always exist, but religious conservatism is an outdated ideology that fades out more and more by the day.  They also make up most of the anti-vaxxer Mark of the Beast believers, so Covid will faze them out faster. Smart older people will still be around, but they are not set in outdated ways. They have the flexibility to adapt to change and evolve their point of view.

Living in the past  is wonderful -  the people who created the wealth  of democratic west has long one now.     The present scenario is that all what their ancestors did was totally wrong and therefore historical  and culture related must be destroyed and the best way is to ensure the top dogs in Government  get richer and he rest gets poorer,

Remember Sharapova - she said that she did not become a US Citizen because he USA is  a nation without culture and history appreciation -  that sums up present western culture up 100%.

The destructive situation at present in the USA is through propaganda seeping  into all democratic countries in the world - and what is produced is more destructive then ever before.    We will not  be living but future generations are going to curse their ancestors for what they did to destroy countries.

When some comment on countries and their people they have never been too, it is very stupid. Rather like criticising a book you never read or a person you never met. If you rely on hearsay or gossip too, it's similar to believing a corrupt media with hidden political agendas. I've been to Russia several times and for some long periods and I must admit initially it was totally opposite to what I had  set in my mind. I've found the bulk of Russian's very pleasant and extremely intelligent.

If you ask the SA rugby players that play there, they enjoy that vast and interesting land.

Ofcourse I do not know Putin but from what angle you judge he is a typical authoritian leader and that is generally how Russians like it. No nonsense men.

Maturity brings wisdom, something that you cannot learn academically as it is a long course in the university of life...medical doctors will tell you that. They learn more in practice than in their academic years, I'm sure Mozart, will agree. Never scorn old people. Yes, ofcourse there are stupid codgers...these are those that never learn but they from what I've observed not many.

The president of America however is long past his retirement age and it is obvious reached senility and it is pure insanity for him to lead the biggest economy in the world that requires a strong mind and energy. There is a time and a place for everything in life. For him to ever think of waging a standoff conflict with China is a joke. He is clearly totally incompetent...Churchill, Roosevel t were not spring chickens in WW2 but they were men with immensely strong minds and intelligence. They were top graduates in the university of life...rare men in a past age when people had more wisdom than today. Such leaders appear extinct today.

Mozart

The truth hurts.  I quoted from what she said herself.    But then she gained a lot of sponsorships - but so do other tennis players as well.    They are not rushing to get US citizenship - there were   during the Communist era  - not anymore.
