Hopefully, at some point, an informed group will rise and make the problems that make up most of the black suffering, in both 1st and 3rd world countries an actual priority.
For example, legalising narcotics in the US will see a) less drug use with better chances at rehabilitation and b) no black market narcotics economy.
The net result being less drugs from death, less gang violence and fewer people in prison.
Instead of defunding the cops the should renew their thinking on narcotics and take lessons from Holland and Portugal.
Gang violence, predominantly centred around the drug trade, is far and away the biggest cause of homicide deaths in young male African Americans.
There has been study on top of study that shows young males are predisposed to learning through practical example and physical activity yet the idea is that everyone should go to unaffordable universities and learn to practice their memory. Properly funding apprenticeship programs and even allowing kids to finish school early if they intend to sign up for an apprenticeship is another great solution that will make a massive difference. Practical vocations and self-employment dovetail brilliantly too. Learn a skill, go out into the world and find people that will pay you to practice your skill.
What's so backwards about all of this is that the easiest solution is often the one that has the best results.
Instead, let's keep the status quo, keep filling young adult's minds with bullshit about racism and feelings, all the while sailing right past that vital window of opportunity where they could be learning skills that will see them in such good stead.
Instead of teaching kids that Jeff the electrician is a racist rather go and ask Jeff if he'll offer an hour two per week of his time to help train young kids. Nine times out of ten Jeff will oblige and not only do the training but build mentor-type relationships with kids that desperately need it.
Jirr this BLM shit fucking pisses me right off.
