Bowie died in 2016 and the song  was sung  years before that - probably in early 21st century.   In any way the fact you linked that to the Ukraine war and the soldiers of Ukraine is appreciated especially as they died in the most unnecessary war ever - especially since they are going to lose the war anyway.       

 The war started in 2014 because the USA  Government wanted it and they control the Ukraine Government totally - t hey at present fund the Ukraine Government 100%..    Nobody wanted the war and the USA  sabotaged peace negotiations 100%.    They started similar BS in Iraq and now 20 years late the country is still in chaos.    

If Trump was President there would have been no war - he was and is not a warmonger and thouh negotiation would have solved he problem.    No country leader has zero resect for the present vegetable in the WH and they just ignore the idiot..   That causes instability world wise and China will attack Taiwan and South Korea if Biden is re-elected as President.        .             .

FYI Mike, David Bowies greatest song (and my personal favorite along with Nirvana's smells like teen spirit) was released in 1977. The man was a bloody genius.
