Snow in July stops Stage 19 in the Tour.

This is equivalent of snow on Table Mountain in late January? Bizarre.

I looked at both the Sky News and Sky Sports websites and both say hail and snow in the posted articles about this. There also video footage with audio of hail hitting a widescreen taken from inside a car so that report seems to be accurate.

Meanwhile the rest of Europe is undergoing a heatwave at the moment with record temperatures been recorded in France, Germany, Belgium Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

Yes the heat probably caused a super thunderstorm that caused the snow and hail...odd, but not really significant in the greater scheme of things.

PS, we had a relatively cool summer and are having a warmish winter.

Strav, these cycles are over thousands of centuries...we should worry more about other pollution than greenhouse gasses...there seems to be a slight of hand magician's trick going on when it comes to green energy.
