…..and actually exceed Indonesia with 10 times Australia’s population. That despite vast advantages being an island nation, with about the lowest population density on the planet and a benign climate promoting outdoor activities.

Despite window dressing like the Djokovic scandal,  the Aussies have clearly blown Covid. For months while they benefited from initial isolation they pompously lectured all and sundry. What can they say now?

Today Australia racks up another 29000 cases. Adjusting for population that would be equivalent to 377000  cases in the USA…..a level not seen in the US since February when Omicron started to wane. What the hell is going on in that fly infested island?

Sad stats indeed and we all trust that they fight through this latest Covid outbreak and life returns to normal for everyone soon.

Well said Arthur the whole thing has been a massive pain, not the least because of the sanctimonious attitudes of countries that did well initially. This disease has exposed the pre WW2 tools that the infectious disease experts insisted were cutting edge. How many millions didn’t Trump saving by championing a fast pace for vaccines, which acted as the best treatment, while only providing limited protection from getting the disease.

2,200 prominent Spanish personalties investigated for false Covid-19 vaccination

I don't know the publication and I haven't fact check, but this is interesting.

"The latest of these to be charged is the President of PharmaMar José María Fernández Sousa-Faro, an IBEX 35 company, and one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Spain. The company is dedicated to researching drugs including cancer, Alzheimer’s and yes, Covid-19.

The 76-year-old businessman, who has not yet been summoned to testify, was included in the lists to reflect that he had received the third dose."

How effective is the vaccines really, if a country like Aus is so severely stricken, vax'n all?

The vaccines have not been effective in preventing Omicron. But they have massively improved survival rates. Countries that got caught in the first wave before vaccines were available had far worse death rates.

Trump did the world a huge favor by pushing the normally slow moving FDA and surprise, has got little thanks for it.

I have received my 2 shots and the booster, currently retired to Thailand and recovering from Covid, I have to say I have had colds that were worse than this, I put this down to having received the vax.

I am still waiting for the down side of receiving the vax that all the conspiracy nut jobs kept banging on about.

No I don't have an extra arm sprouting from my neck but the girls in Thailand think I am handsome so maybe it has made me better looking lol.

Beenshit and the other wack jobs have been proven to be wrong again ( just like they always are) but they will stick to their insane beliefs because you cant change the mind of idiots.

"Boss of Moderna saying the Chinese "won't use mrna".... They WON'T USE MRNA for which there was zero production capacity two years ago. Effectively, Chinese not happy for their people to take a drug with 'no long term trial data ' whilst Western leaders giving it to toddlers. "

No trial data... despite 3 stages of trials that are used in standard drug testing, not to mention the billions of people that have taken MRNA, some up to 4 times...

It’s funny, when erring on the side of caution, which is supposed to be fundamental to the scientific method, is frowned upon by those yelling “science though”. My Vax was many months ago now and i’m still dealing with the headaches that started on the day that i got the first one. Literally developed a headache on the drive home. They are becoming less frequent now, but prior to being vaccinated, i could count the headaches i’d had in my life on one hand. Have now been to the doctor three times and the vaccination appears to have caused me to have high blood pressure, dangerously high actually. After the first doctors visit i began taking my own BP and it’s gradually coming down. Though, i have not changed my diet or any other routine…because there was nothing unhealthy or untoward that required changing. I was told that most of how i conduct myself is what would be prescribed to people with HBP. I train 5 times a week, at least, i don’t smoke and i drink a few gins once or twice a year…if that. The doctor straight-up said that the vaccination caused this and were i not in good shape, that i may have suffered something worse than headaches. He has also warned me against anaerobic workouts. He said i can continue to lift but running…and even rowing FFS, is probably not a good idea. He also told me that he’s had many patients with similar symptoms. Some with less severe consequences and some with more severe outcomes. The commonality being that in many cases it began almost immediately post receiving the vaccine. And none of this is a surprise as there is ample evidence now to suggest that way too many corners were cut when testing these vaccines. The efficacy of modern testing techniques allowing for much shorting testing periods is now also being shown to be largely bogus. Were it not for the media, AKA big pharma shills, we’d be much further along in understanding exactly how negligent and corrupt the entire vaccine story actually was/is. So to anyone, and i mean anyone, attempting to shame people for being reluctant about being vaccinated - allow me to take this opportunity to tell you to GFY.

New Zealand is also roaring along with cases per pop data way above South Africa. Remember a year ago touring RSA was regarded as high risk.

Sorry to hear you have had vax effects Plum. Personally I had none, nor do I know anybody who has had an issue. I wonder if there are risks introduced in the distribution system eg with temp controls.

There are some reports out today that while vaccination is still very effective in preventing serious illness it is only marginally effective in preventing ‘long covid’.

They tried to vaccinate the whole world without lont term trials...still pushing for it...knowing there are serious negatives in some very rare cases, but it is NOT 100% safe...all dissenters are vilified and people telling their stories of vaccine injuries are labled anti-vaxxers and ridiculed...shouted down and bullied into submission...people like Eric Clapton...

Ushing it on young kids with almost no risk at all...This stinks to High Heaven...if you're on the side of the bullies and the mobs, you should re-evaluate your position.

The daily average of deaths in Australia and South Africa has been around the same over the last 30days, which suggests that reported case rates are incorrect.

Some countries do more testing than others, so the "reported" number is going to be some extent lower than what the true infection rate is.

Also as more and more people get Covid more than once, the chances of them dying are slim on the next time they get Covid.

True, but we've got double the population, much higher population dencity amongst the poorest...AND our poor has much less access to proper healthcare...meaning we are doing better than Aus despite their high vaccination rates and 1st world Healthcare for everyone...which means the vax is not nearly as effective as propagated...

See your first point Draad...
About 70% of people in South Africa have already had Covid, some more than once. So the most vulnerable in countries that were bad from the outset, have either recovered or died already, so those that get reinfected will have a much lower rate of death.

Exactly...it's the way pandemics comes to an end...we either find a cure or proper vaccine OR the weak in the herd die out....the current vaccines and lockdowns only delay the inevitable..."flattening the curve"...they should stop marketing it as a solution..it is not, by a long shot...and forcing it on people is flat out wrong...it should be one of the tools in the box, nothing more.

" />This will be brushed off as conspiracy BS and the people that needs to see it won't even watch it...I don't think there's a de-population agenda, but I do thing reckless greed is responsible for a really unsafe mass vaccination drive that did more harm than what most people think...BTW, South Africa has a vaccination injury fund to help those in need...probably plundered just like the rest...

Thanks Moz. My sister didn’t process the vaccine well either. Probably coincidence but it had me thinking that there may have been a genetic element to our response to it.

You actually trust those numbers?? We will never know what the infection and death stats actually are its all pulled out of their arses when they want to do something and need justification. more draconian measures i bet.

I actually know someone who works for a mortuary and the numbers they dish out don't match the actual deaths and burials. Nothing adds up.

I read somewhere that 98% of South Africans have antibodies either from vaccines or prior infections.
