When will the USA with the assistance of Soros follow the 2014 example in Ukraine and organize a coup in Hungary? Like in Ukraine a coup will also have the support of the EU. Orban has condemned the invasion - but has refused to allow armaments sent to Ukraine going through Hungary.
So Orban's Party won the election in Hungary and the question is
What a relief...at least there is sufficient sanity still left in Hungary...whilst the rest Woke Culture sheep are digging their own graveyards.
Western culture is an anomaly in Eastern Europe...Hungary is a beautiful country, Budapest is one of the real gems left in the world, rich in culture, the most exquisite architecture and like Red Square in Moscow unbuildable today.Nato must bugger off before they destroy (like the bombing of Belgrade (then Yugoslavia).
The West, degraded in traditions and culture, in fact, pure zero of all these wonderful things that make life beautiful, must stop their irritating interfering in countries that have their own identity and concentrate in cleaning their own backyards first.
How many here and abroad have ever been there and yet scream and rant uncontrollably like demented schoolgirls.Woke culture is just pure evil.
Well done Hungary.
To understand:
It is a democracy, and it is in many ways like Russia.
You misunderstand these “democratic authoritarian” regimes. They are actually democratic in the sense that winners legitimately win elections and generally have majority support and you do not get jailed or such for dissent.
They just don’t have democratic (western-European) values and way of rule, and this to many isn’t important because people do not have a very high opinion of democratic (western european) values, themselves.
Their history (in general, Slav world, eastern Europe) and your history are considerably different and democracy is a relatively new import to them. The honeymoon phase where everything from the west was seen as great and good and accepted without much question is generally over.
Just stop fretting about it, the sky isn’t burning. We don’t have to be the exact same in order to work well together and requiring us to turn our nations into carbon copies of yours reeks of something which is far removed from democracy.
Where to start?
Firstly, this raving moron is saying that it's okay for Russia to invade Ukraine, but the West must stop interfering in other countries. Invade = good, interfere = bad?
Huh?
Then he says anyone who's never been to Russia has no right to condemn the invasion.
It's bad enough that Tit is a stupid, blinkered and brainwashed drunkard . . . but he's also a sanctimonious, preachy and judgmental hypocrite. What a truly repulsive human being.
Is it time for Hungary to be expelled from NATO and the EU? They are not meeting Democractic standards.
Rooinek
In 2013 there were elections in Ukraine with monitors from all over the world ensuring that it would be free nd fair. That was not acceptable to the USA and the EU and they started organizing and funding protests that they funded through the US Embassy in Kiev, with a major part of the funding coming from Soros,
There were streams of US politicians and staff from US institutions and the idea was to ensure a successful coup - one of the key institution paid and provided with arms and ammunition was the infamous Azov Battalion. In the end the result was a civil war in Ukraine between the Ukraine-speaking people and the Russian Speakers that went on from 2014 to date.
Because the Kiev coup was unconstitutional - the areas of Ukraine with majority Russian-speaking people would not accept the coup outcome and the Crimea Parliament - where 85% of the population was Russian-speaking decided to hold a referendum to the effect that the people should decide whether to become part of Russia and the result was 96% of the population decided to support unification with Russia. The USA and EU screamed murder - but before and after the referendum western institutions conducted opinion polls and found the election supported unification with Russia by over 90% of the electorate.
What is the moral of the story - the USA and EU sup port DEMOCRACY only if the results are viewed favorably by them. The USA in fact support crooked ways of voting without identification leading to voter fraud in the USA itself anyway. Biden wants a law pass that would be unconstitutional since responsibility for elections rests with he States and not the Federal Government. The Act in fact should be called the Legalization of Election Fraud Act.
So if the USA and EU does not like the policies of a country - that country is in danger of being undermined and coups are organized and funded. Hungary is in danger of such an attack and that is what I referred to above.
I went to Hungary in 1993 on the way to having a holiday in Russia - it still had bullet holes in buildings in that magnificent city and they left it unfilled as a reminder of the 1956 Hungarian Revolt against Communism. Budapest was largely rebuilt by the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the 19th century - one of the buildings of note is the Budapest House of Parliament - which was designed specifically designed to be bigger than Westminster. Be it is it may Hungarians believe in their culture and is proud of their history. For example one of the main bridges over the Danube in the city is still named after the Empress Elizabeth of Austria-Hungary.
SB
What democratic standards are you referring to? Elections must apparently result in outcomes favored by the USA and EU - otherwise they are not free and fair. Is that the new norm of suppression of people of countries not abiding by the Rules of the EU and the USA?
There are still people with pride in their countries and when the majority of the people support that principle they are to be destroyed - is that what you believe in?
Have you learned nothing from what happened in Ukraine in 2013-14 - the result of which led to the ugly scenario at present found in Ukraine at present.
You know what the biggest danger to Democracy is in the present scenario? It is propaganda in the media that is not even remotely related to news - but is spread by the media owners who hate democracy and use non-thinking idiots like you to fight it.
What did Mark Twain said about the issue - "A person who does not read newspapers is an idiot - but a person who believes what newspapers write is a bigger idiot". You fall locl stock and barrel into the latter category.
I'm not exaggerating when I say I've never encountered anyone in my whole life who knows less than you about history, politics, current affairs or many other subjects .
I've told you all this before so I have no idea why you adressed me before typing up the same old ignorant drivel about a subject you know absolutely nothing about . . . while also droning on about the stolen election.
Not sure if you have the memory of a subnormal goldfish or if you're even more stupid than I thought (which doesn't seem possible) but anyone who's bothered to read any of my posts over the last few months will know that I consider people who believe the US election was rigged or stolen to be among the stupidest and most brainwashed people on the planet . . . so quite why you're banging on about this to me is anyone's guess.
In short, if for some reason I ever want the opinion of a stupid, deceitful, stubborn, biased and low-class half-wit like you then I'll be sure to put your name up in the subject box. Until then, keep your stupid trap shut.
Clear enough for you? Just grunt once if you understand.

Nothing of what I wrote about the above is not true and because you do get filth and outright lies from CNN - which you repeat on site as true - you can offer nothing about anything on site,
By the way - imbecile - haver you ever visited any overseas country? Have you ever communicated with ordinary people in those countries to find out what they really think? Obviously not - whatever you get in the world comes from the propaganda outlets and you should have learned from the Russian Hoax lies - which you regularly repeated on site - not to trust the new Goebbels propaganda organizations.
You're lying again ou Maaik. I don't watch CNN on TV and I don't visit CNN's website. I don't get any news from CNN. Ever.
You're clearly determined to give your stupid opinion whether it's requested or not but there's no need to lie as well.
The only Westerners that support Authoritarianism are the dumb element of Christians. The ones that live in a fantasy that God is controlling everything, the original conspiracy... for God is an authoritarian God, and Communist God- one truth, one ring to rule them all.
Mike don't fall victim to these 2 hate filled victims that hate truth. Be very wary when they approve and agree with you. They are typical forum trolls. Insulting them bears no fruit, it just fuels them.
It's best to disengage them...they thrive on contraversal evil and cannot see, not because they are stupid but because they are blind, pity them rather, poor souls grappling in darkness, who are victims of degraded cults and cultures that are permeating the world...a world that sees darkness as light and light as darkness. Can’t say I’m too current on Hungarian politics, but any government that doesn’t condemn the invasion of Ukraine is morally adrift. This from The NY Times provides a bit of realism to Tokkie’s Grimm’s Fairy Tale version:
Hungary
Viktor Orban, Hungary’s Putin-friendly prime minister, appears to have won re-election there. “We won a victory so big that you can perhaps see it from the moon, and certainly from Brussels,” Mr. Orban told supporters last night, taking a dig at the European Union.
Hungary is the purest example of a democracy sliding toward autocracy. After taking power in 2010 with a legitimate election victory, Orban set about changing the rules to remain in power. He has stacked the courts with allies and used lawsuits to quash critical media coverage. He has aggressively changed election rules, as my colleagues Matt Apuzzo and Benjamin Novak reported.
In each of the past two national elections, Orban’s party, Fidesz, received less than half the votes, yet still won a two-thirds supermajority in Parliament. After yesterday’s election, Fidesz appears to be on track to win 135 seats of the 199-seat parliament.
Orban has overseen a government that combines cultural nationalism, economic populism and high-level corruption. His policies have lifted the incomes of many Hungarians, including in the more rural areas that make up his base, while stoking fears of immigrants and, more recently, L.G.B.T.Q. people.
All of which aligns him with Putin. In recent weeks, Orban has tried to cast himself as a neutral peacemaker in Ukraine, knowing that many Hungarians have long feared Russia. But he has mostly taken Putin’s side.
Hungary has not joined Western Europe’s efforts to provide Ukraine with weapons, and he has opposed efforts within the E.U. to ban the import of Russian energy. Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, yesterday described Orban as “virtually the only one in Europe to openly support Mr. Putin.”
Hungary has become the closest thing to a fifth column within NATO and the European Union. It is officially a Western democracy — yet effectively a Putin ally.
Mozart
The idea that Orban did not condemn the Ukraine invasion is wrong - he did and I saw proof of it in the local media. However, what he refused to allow is the flow of weapons over Hungarian territory to Ukraine. That was more or less he same attitude of Turkey - who is now assisting in the peace negotiations.
The rest of the article deals with allegations - but nobody has dealt with the method of first passed the post in electoral constituencies than a Minority Party can win most constituencies eg in England where Governing parties rarely gets 40% vote and they still win the election - especially if the opposition parties draw off substantial support from each other.
What I wrote above after I study a wide range of inputs on the internet.
The problem in Hungary is that the people are not happy with rule from Brussels and that is unacceptable to the EU and the USA. They do not want to be adhering to the rulings of the European High Court - where the EU goes every time somebody obje3cted to their conduct.
Poland is in the same boat as Hungary insofar as the latter is concerned. So in this case is it the fact that Governments of smaller countries has no autonomy in their own country and are just a sort of provincial councils to be undermined if necessary by propaganda outlets and interference? .
Tokkie I’m not a great fan of The NY Times opinions. but their factual sources are vast….whereas yours are contained in your dirty right thumb. I know who I am more inclined to believe.
His policies have lifted the incomes of many Hungarians, including in the more rural areas that make up his base, while stoking fears of immigrants and, more recently, L.G.B.T.Q. people.
All of which aligns him with Putin. "
Very bias piece...agenda driven...I don't know any facts about Hungary, but it's clear that the reporting is slanted...lots of general ideas mentioned without quoting actual hard facts.
The trouble is the context and narrative is wrong or misunderstood.
This war did not start on 24 Feb, it started 8 years ago.
Some reasons (not all) The Security Issues are bonafide in Russian context but sadly either not respected or understood by west.
However other major issues you can understand are:
To leave the Azov and other extremists forces alone it would have just carried on the murder of Russian and other ethnic groups.
There has been no peace for 8 years.
The Russian language was banned all over.
The Republics were continuously attacked.
If peace is declared now it will never end.
Too many lies and cover ups are threatened to be exposed which will be very embarrassing to those who blindly follow the agendas of what they are fed.
It has caused so much unnecessary hatred that it will be felt for years before, if ever subsides.
My wife spoke to her friend of a friend for a long time yesterday in Moscow who has just arrived back from Ukraine. Her husband is Ukrainian and her husband and her daughter and herself were leaving Ukraine in the north when the bus was stopped by Ukrainian soldiers. She and her daughter were allowed to continue. He was taken off and now forced into the Ukrainian army which he does not support. It's terrible...they don't know what's happened to him. She shared some information which I will not put here because it's very sensitive and dangerous.
We here, have not an iota of what this really all about...very, very sinister that people won't believe.
A massive can of worms will finally be exposed, hopefully soon.
The problem in Hungary is that the people are not happy with rule from Brussels
Polling has consistently shown strong support for EU membership in Hungary (Poland also).
and that is unacceptable to the EU and the USA. They do not want to be adhering to the rulings of the European High Court - where the EU goes every time somebody obje3cted to their conduct.
If you're a member of the EU you abide by its rules or you can leave, like the UK did. It also has absolutely fuck all to do with the USA.
Poland is in the same boat as Hungary insofar as the latter is concerned. So in this case is it the fact that Governments of smaller countries has no autonomy in their own country and are just a sort of provincial council to be undermined if necessary by propaganda outlets and interference? .
The EU has issues when individual member countries start discriminating against minorities, removing the independency of the judiciary and appointing judges that are members of the ruling party, creating laws that make it impossible to criticize the government without risking fines or imprisonment or when a member state has a monopoly control on a countries media and consistently use it to promote the governments policy and narratives while restricting opposition parties access to it. In effect it has issues with anti democratic practises the likes of which Poland and Hungary have been engaged in for a number of years.
It's all real simple... the west (DuhmeriKKa and pals) want to expand and offered Ukraine a dumb economic deal that meant they would break ties with Russia and put a defence shield in Ukraine. The elected leader... Yanukovych... was chased out of the country because he was going to be killed! But that doesn't matter to the yanky doodle doos because overthrowing governments is the bread and butter of what they do and evil westies in west europe think they are too privileged to be told what to do around the planet. every death in ukraine on both sides is blood on the hands of DuhmeriKKKa before we say anything else about that and then stains on the tails of their poofda west euro b!tches. eastern Europe has more morals than the evil DuhmeriKKKans and just doesn't want what they have to offer. That stupid nazi b!tch Merkel (don't get me started on that evil country) threatened military attacks on the eastern block if they didn't buckle to immigration and none of these eurotards had a problem with any of that shyte. Typical. It's a rule for one and then one for another. Put an effing neo-nazi on Russias doorstep with DuhmeriKKKan aid to militarise the border and we are all surprised that NINE years later Putin has finally had enough??? Do we have arses for brains here or what? Wake the fk up people.

Opinion polls do not win elections - voting does. Reason - selection of participants decide he outcomes. If the picking of participants cities to areas like Budapest - the outcome would favor the EU. If it is a percentage of the countrywide voters it has a different result.

The worst offenders are those living and working in Brussels with no responsibility to the people they are supposed to serve. They issue more instructions to Governments than the Governments itself enacted and effectively have damaged democracy and seems to be operating is a dictatorship when it comes to smaller member countries. The act is the main breakup in relationships came when more than a million mostly ME "refugees entered the EU countries and Germany and France decided to allocate refugees to individual counties and some refused to accept it.
I wonder whether you can have a more one-sided media than you get in the EU countries and he USA at present. Anybody who opposes leftist policies is accused of spreading conspiracy theories and fake news propaganda - like banning of any opposing views on the internet platforms. This - while at present the real conspiracy theories - like the Russian Hoaxes lies developed and spread by the Democrats are regarded by the media outlets as news. In the Democratic countries the spreading of disinformation is one-sided and as far removed from reality as the East is from the West.
Take the latest story of Buch a - there was a mass killing by Russians discovered by the Ukrainians - but he local mayor confirmed the Russians left the town by 30 April and never mentioned any atrocities caused by them. But the Ukrainian forces that entered the town five days later "discovered" the killed people and now claim it was genocide. If the bodies in fact was killed by the Russians more than five days before doctors could easily determine the date of death - but there was no evidence at all about when the atrocities occurred. Russia in fact asked the UN to investigate the incident - but nothing came of it thus far,
. . . .
Mozart
Just a question - have you got any proof that Putin is one of the richest men in the world other than media opinion reports on the issue? Putin is no angel - but is he guilty of everything the media alleges about him? One has to remember that the media spread disinformation and conspiracy theories for a least five years about the Russian Hoaxes and never admitted they lied to the public about the issue.
If you have any concrete proof - please provide.
Obama became quite rich during his 8 years and thereafter...suppose Putin can be pretty rich after 23 years in office.
Putin got rich he same way as Obama, Biden, and most people in POLITICS.
Corruption and secret deals.
Well Elon Musk thinks Putin is wealthier than him….and Musk is worth $270 billion. Obama is worth $70 million, a totally different league. And Obama’s wealth is traceable to book sales and very high ticket speaking engagements. Is it distasteful that that an ex President monetizes the office? You betcha. Is it secret and illegal….no.
There lies the difference between a Western Democracy and an Authoritarian State you are completely missing. Here is a bit from Forbes a conservative business magazine on Putin’s wealth:
‘ The Kremlin denies Putin’s ownership of the palace, saying it belongs to a wealthy businessman. But Russian analysts call it a blatant lie, saying that no businessman can have properties guarded by the FSB (Russia’s federal security service) with a no-fly zone over it.
He also owns 19 other houses and 700 cars, in addition to 58 aircraft and helicopters, including a $716 million plane called "The Flying Kremlin" that has a toilet made of gold. Additionally, he owns a $100-million-dollar megayacht designed by a nuclear submarine maker from the Russian navy.
On top of all this, the famous Panama Papers revealed a network of secret offshore deals and loans worth $2 billion pointing to Putin in 2016.’
….
Excess of a kind the world hasn’t seen since Roman times.
Just the fact that he clings to power should be a flashing red light...and this absurd war...although the motive still escapes me...still makes no sense...
Extremely modest fishing gear, boat and cabin in Siberia...very strange for even a well off man. Something wrong here, very odd for even $1 millionaire..
So Chabal, given your belief is based on the notion of this ‘humble’ man, I take it if all these reports were true and he is mega wealthy, your views of him would completely change? And that might suggest he isn’t the victim in his dealings with Ukraine?
Mozart
On what does Musk base his statement? People can say anything and it would be just that. I ask for real proof and all you came up with is a Musk statement.
Now back to Obama - he bought $32 million of properties BEFORE he got paid for his story and for speaking engagements. There was a host of corrupt actions involving Obama and that can be traced to actual money dispension like -
* Obama and Clinton allowing his Canadian friend actually an ex-South African - to sell his Uranium 1 shares to the Russians thus owning about 20% of the US strategic uranium reserves an amount of $142 million was paid by the Russians to the Clinton Foundation - he definitely benefited from that transaction. When Prince Harry and his wife went to Canada they staid in a him belonging to the said Canadian and when they said they want to meet Obama he stated that he and Obama are great friends and he arranged the meeting within a week.
When the Iranians were paid out because of $400 million paid in the 1970's for planes that was never delivered because of the Ayatollah revolt - Obama decided that payment would not be made through normal banking channels - but the re-payment was to be in cash. So they loaded $1,8 billion on a plane for delivery to Teheran. The cash was delivered and the Iranians gave a receipt for payment of $1,8 billion - but then the snag came out - the Iranians claimed they only got $1.32 billion - the rest vanished into thin air. Guess who got a major part of the loot?
Obama was as crooked as Biden is - but he did one thing and that was to capture the Justice Department and the FBI to not take action in the case of corruption by Democratic Party leaders. Guess who covered for Obama and Clinton in the Special Council investigation of the Uranium 1 transaction? It was Mueller and as expected he found nothing and covered up the whole story.
No Mozart - you have provided no real proof - a statement by Musk is not real evidence.so try again. All I could find on the internet that it is assumed he has assets of $200 billion an hat he owns shares in a number of Russian companies. There was no proof other than the assumption mentioned.
Well I don't know neither do you or anybody...I certainly don't take media as gospel...so many staged impressions and untruths. We simply cannot base judgements on media on what we don't know.
I'm not trying to support, defend or justify him until the real truth comes out. I'm not a fan of any politician...but he certainly is not the worst one.
What my eyes see is a very ordinary man when he relaxes and perhaps he is his true self then...no pretensions at all. It's not typical behaviour for a man who is supposed to be the richest in the world, has a private jet with a solid gold toilet seat as well as so many other assets. It just does not fit. It's best to not to judge things until the truth comes out that's all.
Some things are better not said...too much damage already. In fact we have seen this countless times when exposed later in Iraq, Libya and Yugoslavia. The damage has been done, too late to fix and nothing more is said about the lies and staged fabrications in these 3 ruined countries. No conscience at all, does not seem to worry people once the hysteria has faded and forgotten.
Western politicians that are right wing and left wing both condemn Putin, and believe he is committing war crimes with the motives of aggressive land expansion.
If you have such little faith in Western society, it is no wonder you would support Russian propaganda over Western propaganda.
By January 2016, the countries had struck a deal — the US would pay Iran $1.7 billion, which amounts to about $300 million in interest on top of the originally frozen assets (accounting for inflation).
This settlement was announced the same day in January as Iran received its first round of sanctions relief from the Iran deal.
The deal was paid in installments, with $400 million being handed over to Iran on the same day that the US prisoners were released (January 17). The next $1.3 billion, according to Solomon and Lee Wednesday’s report, was paid over the course of the next 19 days.
The reason this was done in installments is that US law prevents the US government from giving Iran dollars, so the government had to scrape together foreign currency. Getting together large amounts of foreign cash is tough even for the US government — hence the short-term installment plan.
So there you have it. The $1.3 billion payment, which sounds really shady out of context, was actually the end of a boring, decades-old international legal case totally unrelated to the hot-button nuclear and prisoner issues.
……
Given the facts you believe Tokkie I can see how you reach these laughable conclusions. The problem is you believe any conspiracy the nutters feed you. Obama made his money through books, speaking engagements and other perfectly legal activities.
DumbMike's arguments are based on false premises and fallacies.
A false premise is an incorrect proposition that forms the basis of an argument or syllogism. Since the premise (proposition, or assumption) is not correct, the conclusion drawn may be in error. However, the logical validity of an argument is a function of its internal consistency, not the truth value of its premises.
Fallacies are argument based on faulty reasoning. A fallacy can be described as arguments which seem to be convincing but are false and hence are not correct. A fallacy might be created knowingly or unknowingly to mislead others
SB
All I ask is real proof and not newspaper reports You have learnt nothing from the Russian Collusion conspiracy theories headlined by the fake media for five years and ongoing based on lies spread by the Democratic Pary. You have learnt nothing from the Hunter Biden Laptop story which was banned by the media as a conspiracy theory based on Russian disinformation - which is now admitted by parts of the media - even the New York Times as an election strategy in 2020 banned any news on it - but is now admitted as true.
I base discussions on two things - historical proof of what really happened and not make-up media stories. When asked for proof and the response is another media story - it is real fallacy believing and no proof . You have never come up with anything showing you ever think about what you write - so now you quote a description of false premises and fallacy based on what proof? When you cannot come up with anything bar unthinking and unproven BS that meets your description totally you run for cover by coming up with those two things of which ypou are the epitome.
You knew nothing about the Ukraine and absolutely nothing about anything other from what you get from newspaper reports - whether true or later proven to be false - and make hysteric comments on it on site and when it transpired it was lies you still insist it is true and then ran away from topics like the coward you are.
Mozart
It was proven that he money was delivered in cash to Iran and not through bank transactions which is normally the case in international transactions. You started off with BS anyway. The original debt was $400 million dollars - you added $300 million as interest and get to $1,7 billion - when last have you learn t to add sums up?
If the US had to scrape together other currencies to pay the debt - a normal transaction delivering payment would still be through normal banking systems - not cash delivery. So the US scrape together $1,7 billion and how was the payment made.
There is proof that the money was sent by plane to Teheran and not paid through normal currency transfer through the banking system - why would that be?
By the way the above is another media story to cover for Obama and his fellow crooks. So try again and this time tell me why this made up story you quote were true. How come the story was that the Iran Government said they received only S1,32 billion from the USA in cash after it was delivered, despite the $1,7 billion sent? Incidentally there were arguments about whether Iran was paid S1,8 or $1,7 billion to cover the $400 million original debt . I am prepared to accept your argument of $1,7 billion - but please tell me how S400 million plus $300 million get to $1,7 billion?

Do you have any evidence to support the claim that people living in Hungary outside Budapest are less likely to be supporters of EU membership? Also do you have any evidence to support that polls done in Hungary about support levels for EU membership are restricted to Budapest?
The EU is a weird one - the right of the Russian Speaking people in Ukraine are destroyed and the EU do not mind it.
Firstly Hungary is a member state of the EU subject to EU rules, Ukraine is not. However the EU did actually commission a report into the Ukrainian Language Law and stated that several provisions of the law failed to strike a fair balance between promoting the Ukrainian language and safeguarding minorities' linguistic rights
See section 137 of the report by the Venice Commission.
https://www.venice.coe.int/webforms/documents/?pdf=CDL-AD(2019)032-e
If the teaching of Russian is banned in schools in Ukraine it is a problem
Its not banned.
if Russian speaking members of Parliament are arrested after they supported the Governing party in condemning the Russian Invasion purely because they oppose the language policy of the present Government the question is is is that not oppression of a minority
Its not a question of is it oppression of a minority, because members of the opposition party are not being arrested on the grounds they where against the Ukrainian language law but on the grounds that they are accused of treason and potentially aiding and abetting a hostile foreign state.
while in fact if the country had the borders created by the Communists in 1953 - the majority of the population has been all along Russian speakers.
Crimea was given to Ukraine by Russia in 1954, Ukraine's pre 2014 borders including Crimea where recognized by Russia in signed international agreements back in 1994. Those borders are also recognized and protected by international law. Russia have no claim to any Ukrainian territory and the separatists have no right under international law to break away from Ukraine. The majority population of Ukraine speak Ukrainian.
The unconstitutional coup in 2014 - supported and co-ordinated by the USA and the EU and largely funded by the USA - was acceptable to the EU and in the resultant Civil War they supported the Ukraine Government all out.
The 2014 revolution in Ukraine was triggered by the dissatisfaction of a large cross section of Ukrainian society with the then President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukoyvch who under pressure from Russia pulled out of signing an association agreement with the EU after seven years of negotiation. It was an internal matter for Ukraine and the claims that it co-ordinated and funded by the EU or USA are fabricated conspiracy theories and Russian propaganda with no supporting evidence.
Yes the West did support the new Ukraine in the resulting war in Donbass, particularly after Russia annexed Crimea and provided military aid and later direct support for the separatists there by sending Russian troops into Ukrainian territory.
Sounds to me the EU decide on who they would support that will fall in line with their ideas - the rest they condemn irrespective of human rights.
Yes the EU does decide who it will support based on whether a country in question has the same values and ideals as they do. As for human rights, they are of paramount importance to the EU unlike Russia/Putin who have demonstrated in Ukraine an extreme indifference to them.
The worst offenders are those living and working in Brussels with no responsibility to the people they are supposed to serve. They issue more instructions to Governments than the Governments itself enacted and effectively have damaged democracy and seems to be operating is a dictatorship when it comes to smaller member countries.
More conspiracy nonsense. You clearly have no idea how laws are passed and enacted in the EU or the fact that each member state can vote for or against any laws the EU wishes to pass. As for dictating to smaller member states, is that why the EU has taken Germany the largest state to court?
The act is the main breakup in relationships came when more than a million mostly ME "refugees entered the EU countries and Germany and France decided to allocate refugees to individual counties and some refused to accept it.
Germany and France (who incidentally processed the most asylum applications of any member states) did not decide to allocate refugees to individual countries in the EU, though they supported distribution of migrants among member states in order to ease the burden on some member states who where bearing the brunt of the crisis, but in the end due to resistance among some member states the EU abandon the idea of migrants quotas and no state in the EU was forced to take in migrants though some willingly accepted them
I wonder whether you can have a more one-sided media than you get in the EU countries and he USA at present.
You can oppose leftist policies all you want but if you're making claims you need to provide evidence and not just proclaim them to be facts, otherwise they can quite rightly described as conspiracy theories and propaganda.
As for what you call the Russian hoax, the Muller report stated there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, but it also clearly stated Russia did interfere in the 2016 election.
You have no business calling democratic countries one sided when you're so ridiculously biased yourself.
Take the latest story of Bucha - there was a mass killing by Russians discovered by the Ukrainians - but he local mayor confirmed the Russians left the town by 30 April and never mentioned any atrocities caused by them. But the Ukrainian forces that entered the town five days later "discovered" the killed people and now claim it was genocide. If the bodies in fact was killed by the Russians more than five days before doctors could easily determine the date of death - but there was no evidence at all about when the atrocities occurred. Russia in fact asked the UN to investigate the incident - but nothing came of it thus far,
There is now photographic evidence taken by satellite of the same dead bodies shown after Buka was retaken by Ukraine lying in the same position several days before the Russians pulled out. Russian videos claiming to show bodies moving have also been debunked at this point. Russia's request for the UN to investigate it is simply a diversion on the Russian's part to try to keep what few remaining countries that are neutral or somewhat sympathetic to them on side. In the case of India it doesn't' appear to be working.

Bullshit -let me start with one of the later statements o0f yours - the rest is drivel anyway.
The media worldwide reported that Orban is popular in rural areas and small towns and he main opposition strength is Budapest. Pease read the following:-
"Domestically, the degree of Fidesz's victory was attributed to Fidesz's influence over the domestic media landscape, voters' desire for stability during the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, strong ideological differences within the main opposition coalition, the perception of Márki-Zay as inexperienced, and urban–rural political polarization.[28] Some analysts claimed that the majority of Jobbik voters turned out for Fidesz or Mi Hazánk instead of the united opposition.[29] Márki-Zay shared this assessment, admitting that the united opposition may have lost up to "two thirds" of Jobbik voters.[30] Other opposition leaders could not immediately agree on how to assess their defeat. DK leader Ferenc Gyurcsány and Jobbik leader Péter Jakab blamed Márky-Zay,[31][32][33] while Bernadett Szél and Ákos Hadházy did not.[34] Péter Ungár claimed that while it was a "strategic mistake" for a center-left alliance to nominate the conservative Márky-Zay, the united opposition's "elitist" rhetoric may have hurt it with rural voters even in traditionally left-leaning constituencies.".
First of all - let me be clear on the issue - the arrest of Russian speaking members of Parliament occurred before the Russian invasion .and after the Parliament voted unanimously to oppose any armed action against Ukraine by Russia, So how did the relevant members commit treason - please explain. It happened after the debate in the Ukraine Parliament when Russian speaking members opposed the law that ban Russian teaching from Ukraine schools - so what was the real reason for the arrest? A non-existent treason charge - or what?
Glad to hear about the EU Venice Declaration about Language rights - did the EU take up the issue with the Ukraine and Russian Governments and try to settle the difference? Unfortunately no evidence that they did.
You have it wrong - days before the Invasion the Ukraine Parliament banned the teaching of Russian in schools. It still have to be signed into law by the President and he would already have done so were it not for the invasion.
You bring in Crimea for what reason? There was an unconstitutional coup in Kiev in 2014 and the Crimea Parliament made up of virtually all Russian-speaking members decided to vote to join Russia and called for an referendum on the decision - since they did not trust the new Ukrainian Government. The result of the referendum was overwhelming in favor of becoming part of Russia and the actual outcome was confirmed by opinion polls done by US and German opinion pollsters. So how di d Russia annex the Crimea? They accepted the verdict by the Crimea voters and that led to an incorporation of the Crimea into Russia. So why did it happen at all? The Crimea Parliament foresaw what was going to happen and wanted peace in their province. The Donbas area was not so lucky - the coup in Kiev caused a civil war and that has been ongoing since 2014 and never stopped.
The fact is that you did not follow what happened in Ukraine in 2014 before the coup. The uprising was popular in the Ukraine speaking areas - not in the Russian speaking areas and your first story about annexation of Crimea was BS to start off with. Whether the uprising was popular or not is not an issue. The fact is that the US funded the whole uprising through the US embassy in Kiev and paid millions to the organizers, while arming the Azov battalion, who shot at police in the final days of the uprising. It was not popular in the Donbas area at all - the civil war broke out and since it involved Russian speaking people with families in Russia Putin did supply the local Russians with arms.
I agree with you the decision about the ME refugees was taken by the French and German Governments - and forced through the EU. The smaller member States would have none of it and Germany and France were left with all the refugees. What I said was clear - the situation then caused distrust of the EU in those countries and that remains a fact.
As to the Bucha incident why would it not be necessary for the UN to investigate the incident? If Russia is indeed involved in war crimes than proof would be .found if there is such proof action against Russia should be done through the ICC in Den Haag. . What is the problem with having the incident investigated by the UN?
As to disinformation like the Russian Hoaxes in the USA has now been investigated by a Special Council and criminal charges has already been laid because of lies spread by the Democratic Party. Some UN media who covered the allegation of Trump[s links with Russia on a 24/7 basis for five years has suddenly stopped reporting on that one, because they lied to the public on a continuous basis. The internet platforms in the USA banned the discussion of the Hunter Biden laptop two years ago - now that same laptop linking Hunter to his father is being investigated by a Grand Jury and the filth from what was called "The Laptop from Hell" is clearly real and not a Russian Disinformation story as alleged in 2020. When people started querying the gain of function research at Wuhan as a potential source of the Covid 19 virus - the internet banned it and the other media hushed it up. I can name strings of other examples where bans and disinformation are the norms in the USA.
Lastly the issue with EU membership - members are not supposed to lose control of the countries they govern and become subjected to the rules of the EU telling them what they may and may not do in their own countries. It was supposed to be a Union co-ordinating relationships between countries not one governing individual member countries through EU regulations - that was the main reason for departure by the UK from the EU and is still a sticking point for some countries.
"Take the latest story of Bucha - there was a mass killing by Russians discovered by the Ukrainians - but he local mayor confirmed the Russians left the town by 30 April and never mentioned any atrocities caused by them."
The mayor of Bucha's version of events:
"We are also working on identifying the bodies of the people who were shot dead in our city. They were indiscriminately killed by the Russian occupiers, a lot of them are elderly people. We get the impression that the Russian occupiers have got the green light from Putin and Shoigu, the Russian defence minister, to have a safari in Ukraine. They weren't able to take Kyiv so they vented their frustration on Bucha and the surrounding areas."
Ou Maaik will now call this fake news and demand proof, well, it's a CNN interview so he'll call it "proper gander" before he even watches it, but unless CNN are interviewing an impostor and are hoping no-one spots the mistake, it does show ou Maaik up as a stupid liar who is swallowing the biggest load of bullshit from his own right-wing sources while droning on about everyone else falling for propaganda.
LMAO!
"I base discussions on two things - historical proof of what really happened and not make-up media stories. "
Now, let's hear from ou Maaik where he found his story that the mayor of Bucha said the Russians did not commit any atrocities. Come on then you disgusting pig of a man, hold yourself to the same standards you demand of others and give us your sources . . . or are you going to "run for cover"?
