….being shown on the BMW FedEx semi final. The city is much maligned, but there are few more dramatic cityscapes  than Chicago, with skyscrapers right on one of the world’s Great Lakes. Take a look if you are so inclined.

I’d check your sources, last I heard Al Capone was a Ukrainian spy.

If Cape Town was in the USA it would have been bigger and more dangerous...still...Chicago has more skyscrapers  ...not?

Well it has the Sears Tower for decades the world’s tallest building, higher than the World Trade Center was. Also the Hancock and the Aon building all over an 1000 feet. And it has the 98 story Trump Tower along with many iconic early 20th century buildings. A River runs through it and it sits on the very edge of Lake Michigan,

Chicago is a beautiful city and used to have a great  vibe along fabulous Michigan avenue…a broad Paris like boulevard.

It’s been majorly reduced by the politics, exits of great companies and gang crime. Many shops are still boarded up after the Covid events.

People living in the northern suburbs frequent the city far less, I haven’t been down town since my return from Florida 3 months ago. The northern suburbs along the Lake remain intact though and provide some of the most pleasant living in the country.

It’s a great shame to see these wonderful cities being destroyed….Chicago, San Francisco, Cape Town….among the world’s best. It hasn’t happened in Europe yet, and the resistance there will be greater….but ultimately numbers tell the story.

Actually non alcoholic beer is my regular golf course drink…I actually prefer it to the real stuff now. Are you planning a visit?

I think you are lucky to go to the USA  and I hope you enjoy it.   Justs stay away from the crime capitals of the to American continents - even the Mexican cartels are less murderous than the USA gangsters and politicians.   Avoid Chicago like a plague and same with New York, Washington, San Francisco, New Orleans and Los Angeles t name a few.   Tere are also Philidelphia and Baltimore as well.

Thanks to the invasion cities like Paris and London are going down the toilet.

Cities in California are also very bad thanks to Glo balist Marxist Gruesome Newsom.
