A new mutated strain of Covid is spreading around the world, which appears to have originated in the UK. It is far more contagious than other strains so far.

This might explain why cases are rising in South Africa during the summer.

Rising Cases Chart

The South East of England has been seen the fastest growth, and the UK it looks like it is going to lose control completely of the virus.

The one positive is that the Oxford vaccine is expected to be approved in a few days to help reduce deaths.
