The next General Election in SA will be held on 29 May 2024 and we should know within 24 hours what the election results would be.

There are in fact 2 major parties or coalition groups involvedin the elecion:-

*    The ANC

*     The Alliance of Parties with the same principles - The D A, Inkatha and five other smaller Parties

*    The EFF

The present indications as pr opinion polls indicate that -

*     the ANC will not get a required percentage of votes 50% plus 1 vote to  govern on their own;

*     The A lliance of Parties will win in Gauteng and Kwazulu-Natal; and

*     The Alliance will win the election in the Western Cape.

The  ANC will still be the majority Party - but may get a little as 160 members of Parliament.- which would mean the ANC would need support from the Opposition Parties.   That leaves he ANC with a choice as to whom they would negotiate a coalition agreement with.   From what I saw on the news the ANC is divided as to whether the EFF should be a potential partner or not.  .      One would hope that the ultra-corrupt Malema is not in the mix at all.     .

Don't be too harsh on the ANC - after all it took the A NC 30 years to ruin SA - the Democratic Party broke the record by ruining the USA in 3 years,

ANC filth ruined a great country...Apartheid was a shameful unfair system, and the ANC had an unique opportunity to build a freat nation from the ashes of the Nat government...their greed weak character took the country to the state it's in...16 years and after quadrupling the cost of electricity, the problem is still not fix...the only ministry thats working well is SARS....Cyril is the crook Vlag warned us he might be...tribalism is killing this country slowly but surely...the PTB are not fit to rule...have never been...

If you must change a country, it must be for the betterment of all, not only the few fat cats...ask the millions living in filth what exactly is better today than 30 years ago...it is shameful that there isn't a clear answer for the poor and downtrodden...only difference is that there are loads of white people amongst them now...we could have done so much better...Mandela stepped back too soon...

I never defend Government corruption and incompetence in any form.   I sometimes wonder whether the A NC learned their corruption culture from the Democrats in the USA?  LOL:

However, there are two major US companies (McKinsey and Bains) that was supporting  ANC requirement and also destroyed what they were supposed to advise about changes implemented and they were forced to repay the Billions they made out of it.   Highly embarrassing.   .

Unfortunately all the money and assistance from the Western Nations cannot and will not save the African continent from sell destructing.

Tribal conflict, crime, disrespect for country and self, mixed with  incompetence and ignorance are the norms and only way of the tribes of the continent.

You cannot correct hundreds of years of inbred stupidity with aid and money.

Plain and simple.

Mandela was a great leader for his cause during the revolution, he was even better during the transition….but he was a poor governor. All the corruption blossomed during Mandela’s reign and the mismanagement of key industries.

The war in Ukraine could have been avoided bar sabotaging of the negotiations by the USA sabotage of negotiations and insisting that a war in Ukraine will be won by Ukraine and that would cause the collapse of the of he Russian Government - that was the plan - but the Russian army was not defeated and the Ukraine army resistance against Russian attacks collapsed made the situation of Ukraine desperate for a peaceful settlement.

China, India  and Turkey is now prepared to intervene in negotiations - withy China involvement Biden will not sabotage negotiations again - since the corrupt Biden's master - President Xi - is also involved in the proposed peace negotiations.        .

What I feared will not materialize and may not happen.   That is that Nuland has resigned and will not influence the forming of a coalition Government in SA - knowing her love for wars and civil wars - she would have promoted a ANC -EFF coalition and bribed the leadership to accept  her suggestion.   She did it in Ukraine and nothing will stop her for repeating it in SA.

I do not know anybody myself who support any wars and most people think the war could ahve been avoided - but the USA wants the war and got it.   I do not support Putin - I do support peace negotiations.

Yeah .... what a very effective government we have, with well trained specialists.

News just in .... now it takes the JHB municipality 10 days, to determine that the reason why they have not had any water at all.... for 9 full days, is because someone closed a valve.

Knysna is one of a few Municipalities in the Western Cape controlled by the ANC.   The chap wh o eases my flat on the property I stay on - has aa brother being a town planner in Knysna  .  When I asked him how thinsga re going - he said the Municipality is preventing  development in Knysna throught shit policies and no idea about management.

Johannesburg was for a while administered by an alliance of political parties.   So one of the coalition felt he was more entitled to more benefits switched  tot he ANC and bnow the ANC, the EFF and the four coucillors switching size is now as sdministering Johanneburg - a real recipe for disaster - "So korrup die een is so is die ander". ,

If the taxpayers really knew just how bad our water infrastructure is, they would probably riot.

I have first hand knowledge of how the ANC have not maintained, renewed, upgraded so much of the current water infrastructure that has been in place since apartheid ended.

In their collective intelligent minds.... why fix / repair or maintain something that isn't broken.

It is however still the White man's fault that all these leaks, malfunctions, breakdowns and bacterial infections still happen around the country though.

It is not earned the title of "DONKER AFRICA" by accident unfortunately.

As my African Doctors says:" AFRICA IS DOOMED".
